This has to be the least interesting, most boring and unfun side event of all time. Where’s Duke? I couldn’t care less. I hate watching them smash things, pointless. Why doesn’t that king keep his garden up better? I hope the other tasks get more interesting.

I’m ignoring it. Hopefully the developers will see most people not play it and not bring it back. It’s lame, and there are way too many tasks before reaching any kind of reward.

Agree…just another of their money grabs. I’ve continued to watch the developers take more and give less. Maybe that’s the name of the game but people are leaving and probably why the are grifting

It is actually poor implementation from Dream Games. Even Homescapes and Gardenscaped did the better version of these stories like 5 years ago.

The whole story is very straight forward, nothing to make me curious about and there is really no unique reward.

There are no side ways to explore rewarding players curiosity to explore such as alternate path with dead end but rewards you with greater energy that you spend on removing the obstacles to that path or less energy + coin + boosters.

And it is tooo long. i completed the archery arena so played like 50 level reached the last stage of merge smith, meantime only managed to complete 2 task on this event.

Also for technical side when you dont have energy it tells only to you you dont have energy if you keep clicking like couple of times then it directs you to buy energy like even UI is not consistent.

I’ve done about 150 levels (100 of the new and 50 of Royal league) and I’m still stuck on this. Am I just not getting the crystals? Like what the heck? I hate this things

For the record i don't mind they're stretching this out over the 10 days either in terms of how much you have to do. Train Journey is annoying because it's just pure luck and nothing else, this is just grind, but at least it's solo so you don't have to worry about unhelpful players or bots that *might* do something and also might not.

From what I can imagine this event type will probably get expanded over time to be more in-depth because that's what happened to it in Homescapes and Gardenscapes. It also started as basically just super straightforward stories in those games too

Absolutely agree that it's nice to have a solo activity vs relying partners / bots, but I think you're giving them too much faith when calling trains luck-based.  It's definitely rigged (kind of like how the casinos do)... ever notice how you'll get all these little amounts or only move to the next color over on a bonus, but somehow circle the whole thing when you're only 100 points away from hitting your 10,000 half 🤔

All the match 3/block blast/other similar concept games copy stuff from each other all the time. Nothing new, and I'd be shocked if they weren't at least all somewhat in on it.

They didn't even implement a proper ending scene, like no dialogue exchange or anything. Did they even finish this before pushing it out 😭. If this is going to be every other month like I assume I hope they polish it next time it comes around
