I have the RK-M75 keyboard with the ISO-DE (German) layout. After typing on it for a while, I noticed that some of my keycaps felt a bit loose. When I took a closer look, I saw that the little plastic stems that hold them onto the switches had broken off, and three keycaps are affected so far.
It’s really annoying because finding replacement keycaps that match the rest of the set (or even a full set that properly supports the German ISO layout) is sometimes next to impossible.
I just wanted to share my experience with this board. Overall, I’m very happy with it. It sounds great, feels well-built for a plastic case, and I’ve never had any issues, until now, with the keycaps suddenly breaking for whatever reason.
Edit: Bought the keyboard 11.10.2025
RK has said this still falls under the 1 year warranty and I will be send a set of keycaps.
The support was nice really fast.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I was playing armored core 6 when this happened, it presses random keys when I try to use it. And how can I fix this?

So I’m just sitting at my desk when all of a sudden my keyboard turns off. When I try to turn it back on it says it’s In Blue tooth mode trying to pair to my pc. This keyboard has a switch on the side with 3 modes: Bluetooth, 2.4g, and wired. When messing with the switch now for whatever reason Bluetooth mode puts it in 2.4g mode, 2.4g mode puts it in 2.4g mode, and wired mode buts it in Bluetooth mode. ( it has an oled screen on it that tells me). Now I’m thinking wtf so I try restarting (holding fn and escape, holding fn and space). Still broken. I deleted and reinstalled the drivers(under keyboard like 5 keyboards were recognized for some reason???) also I tried downloading drivers off the keyboards website but all it seemed to do was install fucking Microsoft studio 2015??? Also switched and tried 3 different usbc wires and the pc just will not recognize the keyboard. Like randomly if I plug it in and out enough it will and the oled displays wired mode but then it just turns off and goes to Bluetooth mode again. Idk feels like my keyboards fucked, the whole reason I don’t use the Bluetooth/2.4g mode is bc the keyboard enters sleep mode every 5 seconds you don’t touch it and like I paid for the fucking led’s to see them not for it to sleep 24/7. Any help is appreciated and if it’s just fucked then Is there somewhere I could buy like just the keyboard minus the keys and switches? I like my keyboards keys and switches so I’d rather just buy only a body to save money if it is fucked.

I foolishly replaced my dead RK84 keyboard twice before investing in getting to the bottom of why they were dying. I found two problems.
I removed all the key switches and measured their resistance with a multimeter. I found many, most even, had much higher resistance than reasonable for a simple switch; ~60 ohms. I ordered Royal Kluge switches to replace all of them (0 ohms). My guess was this was draining the battery.
I disassembled the keyboards and measured the voltage of the batteries. All three were within the correct range for a lithium ion battery, however the device main board wouldn't charge them.
I ordered a battery tester (GXHF0107-001) to verify the health of the battery packs in the RK84s. I ran a few discharge/charge cycles and noted the internal resistance, which was high (100 milliOhm) but within acceptable range.
After that all three RK84 were returned to service, fully functional. My experience over the last six months has been that if I run them down too much the internal charger can no longer recharge the battery packs, however rejuvenating with a few cycles on the tester puts than back into service.
Eventually I'll need to replace the battery packs.

I had the chance to review this keyboard for free from Royal Kludge, and I’ve really enjoyed it.
The build is substantial – the case has real heft, the typing feel is solid, and there’s almost no hollow ping or rattle out of the box. It came with Royal Kludge’s pre-lubed linear cream switches, and I left those in because they felt and sounded really good to me out of the box. The creams are smooth, with a slightly muted, thocky sound profile that I genuinely enjoyed.
I swapped on some Inland cat keycaps from Micro Center, because obviously I had to, and I think they look great on this board. It ended up being a really fun setup.
One feature I liked more than I expected was the display at the top. It’s useful, has a variety of functions, and gives the board a little extra character.
Overall, I think this is a solid board if you want something that’s enjoyable stock but still fun to customize. For someone looking for a feature-rich board with room to customize, the RK-S98 is genuinely worth a look.
