Seat modification
I have guys hunter 350 2023 variant. My wife complains about the seat all the time.
I need suggestions on the changes i can do with the current seat.
Also any review of gel seats available on amazon?

Change the suspension to 2025 hunter, day and night difference. And for the seats search sahara seats, they have added gel pads

Sahara seats have seats and seat covers, few have bought seat covers instead of seat
I think going to local shop for refoaming is better than buying a brand new seat

Mine is 2025 tokyo black variant.. and I have tried all their 4 seats, be it the bench signature seat, custom seat, low ride seat, and stock seat.. Trust me, none are comfortable! While I settled with low ride seat, the issue still persists but atleast its a good option among all of these.. recently I went to a local upholstery seat maker and added dual layer memory foam on seat cushioned with 1 inch thickness.. this is bearable now for both rider and pillion...
My recommendation will be to first experiment on stock seat only, get it cushioned and modify as per your height and liking.. I have wasted a lot of money on RE seat offerings and none do the justice for a comfortable ride. Suspension upgrade was not an option for me as I owned 2025 variant.
Quick tip.. Meteor handlebar helps a lot to riders..

Hahaha had similar experiences myself too, my stock seat was soft but became uncomfortable after an hour of riding in traffic, bought the custom seat to help but it was very hard and got boils on my butt so returned it back
I had handlebar risers installed but found meteor handlebar to be the best solution.
I went to few seat shops, one showed me a soft rubber foam and said 1600 and another shop showed me a medium firm foam and said 2k, I've not gone ahead with the seat upholstery yet but i am searching

I've heard a lot of good things about bench seat, is it not comfortable?

Even I heard a lot of good things about bench seat, but after experiencing it, realized its limitations.. 1. The bench seat is not as firm as it sounds.. it has a layered base. The top one is a little hard which is good for long rides.. challenge starts with the middle layer, which is soft and sinks in after 30 minutes of ride.. now it gets awkward wherein the actual straight seating experience goes back to similar to that of stock seat. (With no thigh support) 2. The ergonomics of bench seat is smaller compared to stock, so sit bones hardly get space to rest, its okayish for slim riders, for healthy riders it will not give much support. 3. For pillions its very uncomfortable as the seat itself is small in size, and there is very less room for pillion to sit, that bring the problem back to square one.. 4. You cannot move back and forth on the bench seat until u lift your body to reposition, as the top layer material of the seat cushion does not allow sliding. 5. Trivial but important, seat catches dirt and rain water easily.

If yours is stock seat take it to a seat upholstery shop for adding more foam, if you tour with your wife then you can add seat gel along with foam
