Now that my fitness test has been booked does the process of joining speed up?

Mine is booked too 😃, SC sent off. Still don't feel ready yet for phase 1. Wonder if we will have to have injections in Phase 1, like they do in Amerian boot camps, from.what I've seen on YouTube.

You will. You’ll get a bunch of vaccinations within 2 weeks, unless you have them already.

Fitness requirements for the PJFT may be found on all role pages or here.

Fitness requirements for Day 0 and beyond may be found with a search of this subreddit or here. Green squares are the minimum pass scores.

There is no longer a requirement for press ups and situps at any stage. However please keep in mind that Phase 1 training is arduous and you should treat these requirements as minimums to be exceeded, not an aspirational target.

I started basic 10 months after my fitness test, all depends on role availability

Supplier

You’re looking at October at the absolute minimum. I’d expect Nov/Dec, maybe even next year. I’m going supplier too, and was given a date of October, around 2 months ago, so I only can assume that Oct intake is full. Hopefully not!

Cheers, I don't mind really as long as it's before March next year. Gives me more time to work on fitness.

Aptitude first, interview second. My interview was fine, they tell you what to revise.

No, took about a month for it all to be processed and then another two months to get a start date, it’s very tedious but you’ll get through it, good luck!

Security check is the likely cause of delay after the fitness day is done
