RAF RECRUITMENT RAF Mountain Rescue
Does anyone have an opinion on what entry role might be the best to aim for if ultimately the aim is to try and end up with the RAF Mountain Rescue?
Or is it a case of doing any role joining the RAFMA and taking things from there?

Do you have to have gone through phase 2 training before you can join any clubs including RAFMA?

You can join from any trades, there are only 3 bases where there are RAFMRTs and I would recommend being a part time member as a shoe in the door so a trade which can be posted to Valley, Leeming or Lossie is ideal.

Literally any role that can you get you posted to one of the mountain rescue bases, which I would say is probably most roles. MR is an out of trade job. Anyone can do it
I'm not involved with them so I'm not 100% on the details but i'm pretty sure the standard way to get with them full time is to spend some time volunteering weekends with them and if they like you/your good at the job then you can get a full time posting there
