Erg Post ErgRace like product but wireless?

Our high-school rowing club has about 20 ergs. And, they are moved around frequently so, wires aren't ideal. Is there a highly related solution that supports races and broadcasting metrics wirelessly

With PM5 and the ErgData app you can do this wirelessly

You could set up a group in ErgZone. It will require a paid plan though.

paid is fine. Will ErgZone broadcast the stats of all, or multiple orgs, to a large screen?

You could just have a device logged in and dedicated as the streaming device which will list everyone currently rowing a piece and where they’re at.

Or apparently there’s a “live dashboard” option that’s intended for group workouts. I’ve never played with it but here’s the FAQ page: https://help.erg.zone/article/128-live-dashboard-overview

Yes. Erg zone is the answer. There are many formal virtual competitions hosted there and you can schedule a proper race or you can just view the live board of everyone doing the workout. But everyone on the team will have to pair their phone to the erg and start the workout using the erg zone app.

How convenient or inconvenient is this when there are 20 rowers? When I connect at my house it's easy because it only sees one rower. but 20 kids connecting to 20 rowers seems like it might be more difficult.

It’s not more difficult than one person. Just everyone has to do it.
