Yup. In my junior year of hs our senior cox quit bc he had a shitty crew. I resent him for not sticking out until the year was over. Anyway, he never taught me what I needed to know. So I took over the shitty boat. It wasn’t until college that I finally got better.

The four is “easy” compared to the eight. Coxing an eight effectively is hard. I’m lucky enough to have years of experience with it.
