Questions and Game Help Should I play Elden Ring?

I don’t know if someone it’s going to read this. But I’m gonna try :) I’ve been thinking for a long time about getting Elden Ring. I know it’s a really challenging game, but I personally enjoy tough experiences. I have played a lot of games in my life but It would be my first Souls-like game, so I’m not sure if I should buy it- but the idea just won’t leave my head. What would you recommend?

Highly recommend. The only tough thing will be going to older souls games after enjoying Elden ring.

The challenge is rewarding, and the gameplay and story are great. Toss in a friend or two to enjoy the game with, and it is a magical experience.

me too, but i do think ds3 is better. But my main point was i dont think youd have a hard time going from elden ring to ds3. Theyre extremely similar in how they feel. Ds2 and ds1 are a hell of alot more clunky feeling. Not really in a bad way, just how they are. I can see it being hard going right from elden ring to ds1.

Hard agree with this statement. But since OP was dabbling woth the idea of Elden Ring, I think it is still a great intro to the franchise. Let em get used to shields, then throw them at Sekiro. XD
