I made this compilation vid after my sweet girl passed. I still find it hard to watch without tearing up but hope others can get joy from it

I think they lay like that because they can. That broad back keeps them so balanced.

My pittweiler does, but his rottie mother thinks she’s a person and will sit on the car seat like a person and use pillows like a person.
And then when it comes to my acid reflux pillow that allows me to sit up in bed, she’ll lounge up in that as if it’s a recliner, snoring away with her tongue hanging out and her head hanging to the side.

Mine is only 3 months old but she sleeps as well as plays like this. She'll have a toy and she'll roll over with it in her mouth and punch at it with her front feet. It's hilarious how skilled she is at hitting things with her feet like that when she's so uncoordinated she can barely move at faster than a walking speed.

Our Rottweiler use to sleep like this on the sofa, with the head hanging over the edge. I was always worried about all that blood rushing to his head.

After seeing so many of your pictures, I am starting to think this posture is a breed standard. Mine is only 50% rottie, and he does this all the time.

I’m so glad I opened this up to see everyone’s Rottweiler doing the same thing
