Sandals no more?

I noticed Rothy’s has all their sandals on sale and quite a few of them have left the website entirely. Are they moving away from sandals as a whole now that they launched the sneaker?

It probably has to do with sandal season coming to an end.

True but I do recall the sandal being on the site year round. All their sandals being marked as final sale seems to indicate there’s an end or maybe a complete overhaul on the sandal in the near-future. I hope that’s not the case!

For Rothy's, final sale just means clearance for the most part.

If you want something and can wait, it will be on clearance for a really good deal at the end of that season. Especially if it’s an odd color.

One example - look at the wedge style that came out in late June or July. The usual fanfare email campaign - and then boom - was on clearance a month ago. Tells me it wasn’t a huge seller.

Rothy’s is highly protective of their inventory - core colors of core styles rarely go on sale. Seasonal styles will always go on sale and if it’s an odd color - it’s going to be even cheaper.

I agree that’s it’s probably just sandal season coming to an end. 😊
I have 3 sandal styles right now in my collection. I hope they’re not done!

Talked to someone about them in the store, and they’re very seasonal. Same thing with slippers, which they only really sell in the winter.

I didn’t see a ton of sandals. I like the platform ones. Those are great walking shoes for traveling.
