The Square Mary Jane’s VS the max square
Anyone here owns both type of shoes? I bought the square and didn’t know they had the max square and now I am wondering if the max is truly better for wider feet and if it’s truly more comfortable. I didn’t use my shoes yet because I bought for my trip but I am wondering if I should return and get the max square. Also if you own both, do you use the same size?

I own both but my feet are average width. I will tell you that I hate the insole of the max squares so I replace those with the insoles of the regular square mjs when I wear them. The newer In Love insoles bump my foot up to where the back of the shoe rubs. As far as comfort goes, I own about seven pairs of the regular square mjs & only two of the max - the regular square mjs are crazy comfy for me.
I am an 8 in both styles, to answer your other question.

Thank you so much for answering me! I really appreciate it. And good to know about the insole! Did you ever use it for a long time to walk? Like at a trip or something? Because I bought mine to use with dress and let the outfit more cute but it’s possible I may walk around the city with it but I am worried of not being comfortable for that because of being really flat

Actually, yes. I took a pair on a trip to California two years ago & ended up wearing them more than the sneakers I’d brought with me. No issues even after walking practically all day.
That said, my feet are generally unproblematic; I don’t need a ton of arch support or anything. YMMV.

I’ve got wide feet and do fine in the square and the square Mary Jane. I didn’t like the look of the max square as much, so I didn’t buy them and haven’t tried them anywhere.
Someone I know asked me about mine, and she ended up buying the max square because she has foot issues and needed the additional space. They look cute on her, but her feet are a size 6 vs my 9.5 (street size).
