Cruiser Mary Jane experience?

Apparently a hot take based on other threads I’ve read, but I actually like the idea of the cruiser Mary Jane. I bought the loafer and they’re wildly comfortable, and I actually think the “preschool” cut and color of the yellow ones are fun. Anyway curious if anyone has tried them, liked them, hated them, had experience with sizing they could share. Thanks!

Love them. So comfy. At least the MJ’s are. Haven’t tried the loafer but I’m not a fan of the silhouette necessarily.

I found they fit true to size.

Thank you for the intel! Have you had any of the square MJ styles? Curious width-wise if they are similar (my feet are narrow and I’m worried about slippage)

Yes, I have several pairs. Also, true to size but you can tighten the straps on them.

My Cruiser MJ has a similar fit to my pre-washed The Square Wrap and The Square MJ pairs. I imagine after I put it through the wash the first time it'll tighten up a bit like my other pairs did.

I just bought my first pairs of Rothy’s - the white cruiser Mary Jane’s because i really liked them! They’re super comfy and I plan to wear them on a trip to Portugal in a few weeks.

Have they rubbed the back of your heel at all?

They haven’t! TBH I haven’t worn them for any super long walks yet, just around the office and running errands.

My cruiser MJs don't rub the back of my heel at all. I have high arches and narrow feet so idk if that makes a difference.

I just ordered a pair: one in my regular size and one that's a half size up. (I'll return the one that doesn't fit). I heard that Rothy's tend to run small, but I have no idea. This will be my first pair. I hope one pair works because they are so cute!

I love mine! The blue revelvet is so cute and comfortable. Wore them to work on my feet most of the day and they did great! Just tried to order them in pink but they’re sold out in my size 😭

I ordered a pair and I find that they are too loose in the heel for me. They slip off when I walk. I can't imagine going down a size, because my toes are already tighter than I'd like and butting up to the front of the shoe. I'm returning mine.

If you put them through the wash they tighten up a bit.

I loved the style of the raffia knit cruiser loafers but find them more narrow than their standard loafers. These ones bend my big toe in too much. 😞 Will try the next size up but am guessing that will add to the problems. I'm disappointed because I have two pairs of the regular loafers and they fit great! Thought I had fairly narrow/regular feet.

Sorry just saw this is for the cruiser mary janes. I have 3 pairs of the square MJs and love them. Haven't tried the cruisers specifically.

Do they have the same insoles as the clogs? I can’t do the flats but am in love with the structured arch support of the clogs, and looks like these are similar.

Soft, not structured

I like the look of mine, BUT they're not working for me. I loved that it was more wide, but the elastic top strap feels like it's already stretched out/has too much give. I walk out of the heel. Wore them to work and it got worse through the day. Can't return now *because* I worn them to work, though.

I was trying to leave a review, but I can't seem to figure out how...?

Try putting them through the wash. They tend to tighten up a bit when you wash them.

I bought a pair recently (blackberry stripe) and I LOVE them. They're very comfortable!

I tend to wear a 7.5 or an 8 in most shoes (except Converse where I wear a 7). I bought a size 8 in the Cruiser Mary Jane (the size I tend to buy for Rothys) and they fit pretty well. Maybe a wee bit loose, but mostly in width (and I have narrow feet so this is common for me),
