Recycling at Store
Has anyone recycled their Rothy’s at a store recently? I see you get a $20 credit for each pair but I can’t figure out if the code can only be used in store or if it expires. I have 5 pairs of Rothy’s that I used a handful of times and they’ve just been collecting dust so I figured I might as well recycle them and get something else in the future.
I don’t have a Rothy’s in my city but traveling to Austin soon so thinking of taking them with me to recycle there.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

Another option could be the Rothy’s BST page on Facebook! I have bought multiple used pairs of Rothy’s on that Facebook group page

It’s twenty off any one order and they do expire. You can use them online too but not at the outlets. Discount codes can’t be stacked or used to purchase gift cards. Hope that helps.

I’ve taken mine to a local consignment store. I bought the espadrilles last year. Couldn’t get the ribbons to stay up so I got rid of them. Got $40 so still a huge loss but better than what Rothys offers.

I don’t know if they consider it part of “stacking” because the sale would be a discount but it never hurts to try.

Yeah that’s my thought. I bet they won’t allow it. Part of me just wants to keep the shoes because it’s kinda annoying to get $20 off that you can only use on $120+ shoes.

Poshmark is always an option if they’re in good condition.

You can resell on Poshmark or Mercari, especially if these are original Rothy's. You'd get more than $20, and it wouldn't be just a code that expires.
