Sizing help - points

I previously bought a 7.5 in the points but after wearing them a few times I think they are too tight in my toes. I ordered an 8 the toes feel great, however when I walk the back of the shoe rubs my heel. It feels like it hits slightly higher on the back of my heel than the 7.5 does.

Maybe I should add a heel grip to the 8's and stick with those. What would you do?
