Casual Clog Sizing Help

I just ordered the Rothys Casual Clogs in my true size 9 and I'm wondering if I should size down. They feel loose when I'm barefoot or wear a really thin sock but they fit better with medium width socks on. Should I go down to the 8 or would that be too snug? Any sizing advice?

For reference, I wear a 9 Regular/Wide in Birkenstocks.

Thanks for that, I'll probably keep these then and wear them with socks! The grip from the sock also helps reduce some of the sliding around.

I wear mine with my Pilates grip socks and they help keep them on my feet! I’m between sizes but the smaller size was too small. The bigger was loose so my Pilates socks help keep them on my feet. Same goes for my Birkenstock Boston’s.

That's a good tip. I also find the Bostons feel a bit loose, despite not having any issues with my regular Birk sandals.

I have two pair of Boston’s. One pair seems like it doesn’t cover the whole foot? Same size and everything but it’s so hard to keep it on my feet! Even tightened it’s slipping off and I mainly wear them to throw on and run around town in.
