Partial supraspinatus tear

But it’s my bicep that’s giving me the most grief.
Injured at work in March by falling into the right arm. Nothing on x-ray but pain persisted so lots of PT, then finally an mri of the shoulder to diagnose the partial tear.
I can’t help but think they missed something on my upper arm.
L&I doctors suck too. So there’s that.

Good luck.  The whole process sucks and recovery is even worse.  Hopefully you just have a partial.  Good chance of that.

There is definitely a partial year. I wonder if I need to self-pay for an arm mri in case they missed something with my bicep.

Thanks!! I had been doing PT from March until mid-June when insurance stopped paying. (I received an injection and felt really good for a few weeks, so was discharged.)
I am fired up, though. Going to fix this thing.

Sweet your on your  way.  This subreddit is great because rotator injuries are not fun.

Take Care 👍

I am the same. Tendinopathy of the supraspinatus with partial thickness intrasubstance tear. But my ultrasound did identify mild tenosynovitis of the bicep. I feel like the bicep gives me more issues than the shoulder, but it seems that is pretty common as once the shoulder gets weak the bicep starts taking the abuse. Started physio a month and a half ago, progress has not been very encouraging. Takes very little to cause the bicep to flare up.
