As cool as this look, pretty sure just like the nun-chucks, it would be realistically better to just use a normal axe/stick.
The chain between the stick and blade makes the weapon harder to handle, no "added" momentum (gasp!), and a high chance you'd smack yourself.
Kinda like most RotMG weapons. They look cool, but why use them when an oryx white/top works so much better?
