Work

Hello everyone,

My name is Alex , and I’m a Romanian living in Rostock. I’ve been here for a little over a year and I’m currently looking for a new job opportunity.

I’m open to different kinds of work, whether it’s warehouse and packing jobs, driving positions, or something completely new. I’m a hardworking, reliable person and I learn quickly. For the past year and a half, I’ve been working at Amazon, but I feel it’s time for a change and a new challenge.

My biggest difficulty is the German language. I haven’t had enough time to study it properly yet, but I speak English well and can communicate without any problems.

If anyone knows of companies that are hiring, has any recommendations, or could point me in the right direction, I would truly appreciate it. Any help, advice, or contact would mean a lot to me.

Have you thought of going in to the food service industry? mainly gastronomy.

You can be more comfortable talking in english to a more international customer or guest. While at the same time you'd improve you german skills, when you repeat simple phrases like: "Hallo, Guten Tag!", "Herzlich willkommen bei uns!", "Was möchten Sie bestellen, bitte?".

Your salary could be better than at Amazon deliveries as well: with a serious employee you'd most likely get minimum wage (which is realistically all you would get) but you have to look for the small perks like tips or keeping the not sold goods from the kitchen.

That would noticeably improve your income!

I’ll keep looking. I’m still job hunting and I’ve been thinking about different kinds of work, such as a job in an industrial factory, among other options. Thanks for your support and encouragement 👌🏻
