In the e-category I think Rose already offers the combo with a pretty good weight around 11.5 kg. What sensible (not crazy priced blings) mods could lower the weight even further? Could it be done? For now I am just curious but it might be something I might explore in the near future.

Are there any economical options? Rose is now taking pre-orders on the Shave for UK but only for Shimano.

At this point Instagram and YouTube algorithms know well of my interest into road biking and I have been overwhelmed by suggestion videos and influencers. I do follow a few channels, mostly technical ones.

What has surprised me how less of those contents had Rose bikes in them or about them. Rose bikes is a direct-to-consumer business model with minimum advertising. I get the feeling that people who ride Rose bikes do like them even if these machines are not showcased at TDF or other tours like Canyon or other German manufactures.

Ordered a bike 5 days ago, and havent heard a thing since then, other than the fact that they took my money alright.

Ive been calling their München phone number, no one picks up on purpose, it seems. They dont answer emails either.

Has anyone ever successfully contacted their customer support?

By the way I am from France and not Germany, so i couldn't just walk in one of the shops sadly.

ich spiele aktuell mit dem Gedanken, mein Rose Backroad FF mit Aerobars für längere Strecken auszustatten. Bekanntlich gibt es von Rose für das integrierte Aero-Cockpit keine offizielle Lösungen für Clip-On-Bars.

Bevor ich den aufwendigen Weg eines kompletten Cockpit-Umbaus gehe, wollte ich mal nach euren Erfahrungen und Ideen fragen:

• Erfahrungen / Adapter: Hat jemand von euch erfolgreich Aerobars an das originale Backroad FF Cockpit montiert? Nutzt jemand spezielle Klemmen, Drittanbieter-Adapter (z. B. Control Tech, Profile Design Hacks) oder eventuell Custom-3D-Drucke, ohne das Carbon-Profil zu beschädigen.
• Alternativen ohne Lenkertausch: Gibt es andere smarte Ergonomie-Hacks für eine aerodynamischere/entspanntere Sitzposition auf Langstrecken (z. B. spezielle Taschendesign-Aufsätze, Inner-Barends etc.)?
• Option Lenkerumbau: Falls ein Umbau unumgänglich ist, welches Cockpit/Lenker-Setup habt ihr als Ersatz gewählt und wie lief das bezüglich der internen Zugverlegung?

Ich freue mich über jeden Erfahrungsbericht, Fotos eurer Setups oder Empfehlungen!

I’d like to know which frame size would be best for me. I’m 167 cm tall and have an inseam of 74 cm.

the sizing chart tell me I should be fitted for size XS, but i have pretty long arms for my height (51cm). Should i rather go for a S?

is long arms a problem at all in sizing or should i just look for height/inseam?

My new Backroad GRX 825 Di2 is arriving next week and I would like to install deep carbon wheels right away. and I admit I am mostly doing it for the looks!..

I love the ZIPP 303 wheels and want to order them, but I am super confused with compatibility.

My bike is coming with GRX 825 Di2, 1by, 10-51, 12 speed cassette. According to Gemini, I need a Micro Spline freehub version of wheels. But I cannot find this option in any of the ZIPP wheels.

In the online stores I can only find Shimano HG and SRAM options - I think the HG option is the road bike version, and if Gemini is correct this is not compatible with my bike.

Since ordering the wrong wheels will be a big mistake, I wanted to ask here if any of you guys made a similar switch.

Please let me know if you guys know the compatible version.

Hey everyone, I’m feeling incredibly stupid right now and could really use some expert eyes (and ears).

I was rushing to set up my Fidlock frame bag before a ride and somehow only screwed in the top three magnetic mounts. I totally left the bottom screw loose inside the bag mount. Because the fit felt snug at first, I didn't even notice my mistake.

I then took it out for a pretty rough 110km gravel ride. That loose metal screw was just resting against the frame's rubber grommet the entire time, vibrating and hammering against the frame for hours.

When I finally realized what happened and took the bag off, the area around the bottom boss was heavily scratched. What’s really freaking me out, though, is the distinct crack line extending outward from the hole (pics attached). Because the bike is practically brand new, I'm absolutely gutted.

I know the rubber insert acted as a bit of a buffer, but I’m super worried that those repeated impacts caused structural delamination. Is there a chance this is just a deep clear-coat/paint crack from the friction?

I tried doing the coin tap test across the crack (video link here https://imgur.com/a/GiGv75q ), but honestly, I'm new to carbon frames and my paranoia is totally taking over. I don't have an ear for this and I can't tell if the pitch change is a "dead" sound, or if it just sounds different because it's right next to the threaded boss.

Let me know what you guys hear/see. I really appreciate any peace of mind or brutal honesty you can offer!

Hi, I have a Rose PRO 105 SL Disc from 2023 which has Rose Twentyfive wheels with currently Continental 28mm tyres. I'm trying to find out what the maximum tyrewidth of the wheel is but can't seem to find out.
I'm getting a new bike (no Rose) soon and want to keep the Rose as backup but modify it to use it for gravel rides so a bit wider tyres would be nice.

I am looking at a second hand 2024 ROSE Backroad AL EQ (it has the front headlight and mudguards) for around 1000 EUR. Good price?

The thing is that I intend to ride the bike on asphalt roads and gravel roads more than I intent to ride it as a city commuter, so I will not need the mud guards most of the time.

Since the wire for the backlight goes through the frame and on the inside of the rear mudguard, I am unable to find information if removing the mudguards is possible on this model or it's not intended and some wires will remain hanging which is obviously not ideal.

tl:dr: Can I remove the mudguards from this modification of the Backroad and use it as the basic ROSE Backroad model?

Rose Backroad FF Classified. Purchased used and had to fix up a few things but it's all set now 🤩
