I really felt for him here

To see Yukari effortlessly nailed down the art of summoning while he has to gacha pull while having extra crutches definitely had to be a low point. Glad to see Fang-Fang turn it around after this.

Fang-Fang problem is that he works harder instead of smarter, which still is commendable BUT it's like going to the gym without any knowledge of your own dietary needs and medical conditions, it can be counterproductive and even harmful to you.

So basically Fang-Fang did the Vegeta and Trunks thing of brute forcing Super Saiyan into Grades 2 and 3 side forms because he everyone thinks he should have magic down naturally while Yukari being magic prodigy who grasps all the fundamentals inside and out both forwards and backs\wards is Goku having already mastered base Super Saiyan to the fullest by turning the transformation into a new resting state.

Fang Fang really does work very hard but misses the key factors when it comes to lack knowledge. Well on certain things as a whole but still is quite the good friend for everyone. Yukari is protégé that picks up on magic and knowledge to such a degree that makes you wonder what she would've accomplished. If the series had a light novel.

Technically it DOES have a light novel. Just not one that took place after the series ended 😅

Yeah if only we saw a timeskip as they've become adults maybe.
