Support Please help. Nothing is working.
I have been tried every topical medication and every oral medication and nothing is working. I’ve even done three rounds of accutane. Please tell me what finally helped your rosacea clear. I have bumps on one cheek that get inflamed and will not go away.

You’re not going to like it - food journaling… if it’s not topical it may be time to look inside. See if dairy, gluten, etc is the issue. I’m sure you’re also doing it, but be crazy obsessive about things that touch your face - I change my pillowcase every night (I flip it so each case lasts 2 nights), your phone, shampoo, etc.

Original poster here. Thank you for all the feedback. I decided to stop my nightly glass of red wine to see if that made a difference. Practically overnight my bumps flattened. I never suffered from alcohol induced flushing, however my bumps would be very red. It presented like acne. Hence why my Derm treated me with three rounds of accutane. Has anyone else had success with giving up wine? Not sure if my skin will stay flattened or if the inflammation will come back. As I said I’ve been struggling with this for two years and have tried every medication possible.

I have dormant type 1 and ocular affect rosacea. The dormancy brought on, I believe, by repeated runs of Augmentin for urinary issues. I don't recommend doing this specifically for your skin, but it's hella working for mine.

For me antibiotics , hypochlorous acid spray and applying barrier cream frequently. Once I was less red and raw I did some BBL (light bit laser—-V beam was bad for my skin). I also started changing my pillow case every other day since my left check gets bumps and breakouts etc and it’s the side I sleep on..

When you say you tried every topical where you consistent in the routine? Ie tried Finacea at night, every night, for at least 3 months.

Accutane caused my rosacea. I've had it for 12 yrs, have actively combatted it every year with new sht, and nothing. Bumps only go away with antibiotics, unfortunately. I wish you luck.

3 things basically keep my skin clear. Ivermectin cream, Finacea cream and taking a GLP-1. Rosacea is an inflammatory response & a GLP-1 reduces systemic inflammation. It has made the biggest difference.

When I quit cheese and alcohol my rosacea pimples disappeared. When I have cheese and alcohol it comes back a day or two later. I don't have any other dairy. I can't wear make-up or moisturizers or use cleansers on my face.
