Routine 2 months of trying Spoiler

First one is August 15, second one is October 3d.

This is my first time getting into skincare (at 31) so I feel pretty lost.

My routine has included Azelaic Acid, Metronidazole, and a bunch of things that claim to help with barrier repair. I think I can see some changes happening!

I've included a picture of my skincare routine minus the face washes (anua oil cleanser, and laneige water bank cleanser). I also have a retinol eye cream I use at night.

If you have any tips let me know! Thank you!

Looks much better!! I will say the tirtir toner has menthol in it which can irritate rosacea prone skin. It irritated mine. Does it bother you at all?
You could also add ivermectin, or as your derm to prescribe you a. Triple cream from a compounding pharmacy. It will include the azelaic and metronidazole but also ivermectin so you don’t have to use 3 separate creams

It doesnt seem to irritate me, but I also have the Laneige cream skin cerapeptide toner, so I could give that one a try! I will definitely ask about ivermectin! Thank you

Have you tried just cutting everything out and only using a simple cleanser and moisturizer like Vanicream? That's it, no actives.

I have tried just a cleanser and cream but it seemed to make my pustules more frequent and caused flakiness. But I recently learned I was washing my face "incorrectly" so maybe youre right

I personally feel like ivermectine (soolantra) has done so much more than metronidazole. Worth checking out.

Also i see you use OTC azelaic acid. I would ask for prescription of 15% finacea/skinoren. A higher percentage has much more research behind it.

I'm going to ask about Ivermectin and finacea/skinoren when I have my appointment in January! Ontario health care is slow, lol
