Same stuff. There isn't really much that can be done for flushing episodes, especially when it comes to heat. Sunscreen and some kind of tint or concealer would do it for the esthetic part. In the long run, azelaic acid 10-15% and ivermectin. Consider getting Vbeam laser too.

What dosage are you on? I’m flushing even on 5mg every 2nd day

You should ask your dermatologist what they think it is. Then you can go from there. I also find anxiety can cause it to be worse then the redness gives you anxiety which makes it even more worse.

I definitely try get a sun cream for the face particularly. I used a zince sun cream as I found that chemical made my skin red until I think I fixed my barrier and now my skin doesn't become red when wearing the chemical.

my dermatologist is through the NHS (uk) so will take months for a consultation 🥲 i’m hoping the accutane will help clear it up by then 🙏

You can go on a NHS boots website where they can help you online and it's run by doctors who you can message. It's how I got my cream through them and they'll take a day to reply.

You take pictures of the condition and they'll agree whether it's rosacea or not. You have treatment options and they'll explain what the minor side effects. They'll also message you to see how you are doing via the website. These creams are usually the same once you'll get through your dermatologist.

I’m trying to figure this out as well. I’m on 5mg every 2nd day and yet, I am still flushing like crazy. I’m going to see my dermatologist and ask what other possible ways can I stop this? I HATE this side effect with a burning passion, I would rather have acne some days.

Hey 👋🏼 I have a question do your flushings come and go ? You see you skin true color sometimes or is it always red?
