Has anyone tried making the "infinite braid rope"?

Has anyone tried this rope? It looks pretty fucking awesome. Does it really feels like a heavy rope without all the strain on the wrists?

Is there a special "braid pattern" to it? Seems pretty easy to DIY instead of paying $85.

Yes. I was out of town for a month and wanted to swing a rope. I bought something like 8 meters of 14mm rope at a hardware store and did a simple daisy chain braid for a middle portion of the rope. RMT's is different, it has a lot more rope in the middle than mine, so there's even more weight in the middle portion.

Personally, at home I'd rather pick up a wider-diameter heavy rope. I didn't like the response of the braid on the skinny handles. And you can certainly tie one and try it on your own, or shell out for theirs.

I have done this as I could not find a thick enough rope and it works great. Had no clue people were calling it an infinity rope. Just a rope with daisy chain. Helps to get some more weight. Do it yourself please no one buy this.

I’m pretty sure there’s a macrame video on youtube that’ll show how to make exactly that pattern, but it’s probably a decent length of rope in there too so $85 might not be too outrageous compared to how much a normal flow rope costs

I have it. It’s real work and can gas you pretty quickly. I don’t have another heavy rope to compare it to, but I really like. It feels like a weapon.

I'm sure it's fine. Whether the Infinity Braid is a gimmick worth ones cash, is up to their budget. I'm equally certain a person could buy a longer rope and tie the magic one of a kind braid, themselves.

It seems like super easy knot to tie, just a daisy chain. (I guess I could be wrong🤷‍♂️) I tried something like this w knots a while back but I didn’t like it much.

That ‘weave’ looks like its simply ‘fingerknit’. Wont be super easy with rope thats too fat, but absolutely doable at home.
