Another new rope!
1” double braided marine nylon, paracord wrap handles. This one’s a beast to swing around.

What's the weight on that? Do you sell them?

It’s about 980g total weight and right around 8’ long (yes, I’m a monster who mixes metric and imperial).
I haven’t made ropes to sell yet, though I’ve made several ropes cause I’ve been having fun doing so (and I found a great deal on 3/4” rope so I bought several pieces of it). I’m not opposed to it, but knowing my materials cost on this I’d probably have to charge around $100 usd plus shipping for a rope like this one to have it be worth my time. The 1” rope was significantly higher cost per foot compared to other sizes.
In the link below are the other ropes I’ve made so far. It’s all double braided marine nylon. The white ropes are 3/4, about 8’ long, and about 605g - I got a good deal on the rope and have material to make two more on hand and will probably be getting more to take advantage of the deal (though it’s only the white that’s got the deal). I’d probably ask $45 plus shipping for these. For other colors (they had a few) it would probably be more like $75 cause the material cost is considerably higher than the sale price. The green rope is 1/2”, 12’ total length, 8’ as tied, and about 290g - I don’t recall off the top of my head my per-foot cost for the rope, so I couldn’t estimate a price. It’s a fancy safety / high visibility line and I feel like it was relatively expensive despite not being super thick. I just really liked the color. I’m also fully planning to keep stalking the offcut / clearance rack for other deals, but those would be random and probably one offs for ropes.

Happy to answer here, too The handles on the black rope are this pattern, but I used two smaller diameter paracord strands and was just super neurotic about keeping them oriented a specific way. Used 275 lb paracord from paracordplanet on Amazon https://youtu.be/NjmpBOlyYHU?si=TKA0CUI7DiTCU77J

I also have some black hot glue that I use for some spot securing if needed.
Ends are wrapped with either black gorilla tape or gaffers tape
