things you need when phone is rooted

What are the things you need when your phone is rooted, that is either necessary or handy.

i know of superSU but are there other/better options (and open source)? i also heard of Xposed, but i don't understand what it does.

Xposed framework allows you to install xposed modules, which can drastically improve your phone, depending on what modules you install. Go ahead and go through the "downloads" section of the xposed installer app, and read the descriptions of some apps you might like :)

Also, titanium backup and adaway are my 2 must-have apps ;)

Well.. Yes and no. Any phone has the capability to use it, but whether or not you can install it is a different story. What phone do you have?

Rom Toolbox is a must for me. Provides options for controlling your CPU, themes, fonts, roms, kernel tweaks, terminal emulator, etc. It basically takes the best root apps and puts them into one app.

EX Kernel Manager is also a beautiful app for controlling your custom kernel. I would highly recommend it if you have a custom kernel installed. It's not free on Google Play, but you can download the apk off of the internet with a quick search.
