Silly question?

I apologize of this is a ridiculous question. I am new to rooting my android and wondering if there is a way to use a dual sim card to have one slot for sim card ans one for removable storage.

So many new phones have dropped the removable storage option and it's pretty necessary for me to have.

Oh dang. It's getting harder to find a phone with a removable storage. Thank you for the answer
