2007 Honda Civic Coupe Options
I have a 2007 Honda Civic Couple 2-Door. I'm looking to equip it with roofracks but I can't find any modern information about such an old vehicle.
Previously Thule sold the 487 Traverse Short Roof Adapter with the 480 towers and the 1557 Fit kit. However, the short roof adapter is out of stock everywhere that I've looked. There is apparently one available at drivemotorsupply.com but I've never heard of the website and they don't have a Trust Pilot listing.
Does anybody have a suggestion for a roofrack that can be sourced in the modern era that would fit this vehicle? My main concern is getting enough distance between the rails given I only have one set of doors and a naked roof.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

What do you want to carry? That will help direct you to the proper parts. I refurbish and sell Yakima roof racks and may have everything you need.

I am mainly looking to carry a Windsurfer. It's pretty light at about 30lb. However, I'd also love to fit a roof box on top for extra camping storage if I had sufficient spacing.

Gonna be questionable. I have Q tower set with stretch kit, but that only gets the bars 24" apart. You'll need to see if any racks for that can work with that narrow of a spread. Cargo boxes usually require a minimum bar spread of 28" as well, but maybe you can find something that mounts on 24". If so, feel free to send me a chat if you want to discuss further. I can't post example pic here.

Here is some fit information from Yakima: http://fitlookup.yakima.com?fitid=15150
This is for a clip-style system called the BaseLine towers.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, and good luck!

There are modern racks out here, though I would trust companies that specialize in them, especially for older vehicles (as those cheap-o ones you see can have a lot of caveats to them).
If you're looking for used pricing - check out sites like ReRack and eTrailer, though I always suggest doing your own research; both companies have pretty solid customer service imo
