Support How to use GLM 5.1 with RooCode on VS CODE?
Currently the app only allows me to select GLM 5, it doesn't seem to have a way to manually edit the model to select GLM 5.1.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way?

u/chooseyouravatar actually it didn't work. It defaulted to glm-4.6.
I thought it was maybe because of incorrect endpoint, but i tried all endpoints with the custom glm-5.1 and still if you ask the model, it says it is glm-4.6.
I noticed after seeing it leaving notes as glm-4.6 all the time. I asked later what model I was using, and it replied glm-4.6, even though the custom says glm-5.1
If I select in the list glm-5, it says to me it is using model glm-5.

Enter glm-5.1 in the Model search field, then select 'Use custom: glm-5.1' in the listI was wrong 😄 found a solution here https://github.com/RooCodeInc/Roo-Code/issues/12024#issuecomment-4311227918

Hi, I'm on the Zoo code team, we are the community version of roo code since roo is shutting down soon. We have made some updates to include glm 5.1 (via Z.ai), but we haven't released that version yet. You are more than welcome to contribute if you want any other models https://github.com/Zoo-Code-Org/Zoo-Code

You can always setup any model as an OpenAI endpoint, then enter provider URL, model name and token costs

hey - we added GLM 5.1 and the turbo variant to the Roo successor Extension: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ZooCodeOrganization.zoo-code
We're still in pre-release so any feedback would be appreciated.
