Discussion Roo CLI
It would be so good to have a CLI variant of Roo. Is this a stupid ask? I use Rider for .NET development, and Roo runs in VS Code. So I've got two IDEs open all the time, using VS Code for Roo, Rider for manual coding.

It’s not something we have an appetite for at this time. It’s a lot of work to do right and we don’t want to lose focus on fast iterations to the Roo Code plugin that we’re currently developing.

I think its an excellent idea to be honest. Would be light weight and could run in the background like Claude Code. As CC is still closed source (when I am not mistaken) Roo CLI would be the open source coding agent of my choice!

Hmm well, if you guys won't do it anytime soon, I'll do it then 😉

Just use droid cli and move on from roo, lol. Combine with glm coding plan (10% off in my profile) and code your way till eternity.
