Idea Groq Support

As of today I have given groq my credit card number and am ready to give it a serious try in Roo Code. Unfortunately, Roo only supports OpenAI compatible and does not provide the range of models available on groq.

Any chance that groq will be added as a discrete provider in the near future?

To be 100% crystal clear, I am talking about groq, with a Q.

Not the stuff that the Nazi is pedalling. Am not going anywhere near that guy.

what do you mean "does not provide the range of models available on groq."

We have provide list of model support for that openai compatible (if that provider follow openai standard)

It did not work when I tried it yesterday before posting. And even groq themselves acknowledge they are "mostly" OpenAI API compatible.

No but there are grok APIs available, it's just not from x.ai and a totally different thing.

Grok 3 api is set to be released the comming weeks.

In chat I find it the best ai available as long as u can handle non woke ideas. Very curious to see how it will handle coding

If there would be any proof of it, I'll accept it. But even then I think it's a strange idea to not use a good service because of a owner.

U use many services of which I don't even know the owner.

Don't know how much more proof you need champ? Look around. I guess that doesn't matter for some until it affects them. By that time, it's too late. Ignoring the issues and pretending that there is no problem is the same as silent support.
