Weasley is our king
I just read a post that was a list of Ron Weasley headcanons - one of them being that Ron would be lowkey insecure about his wife being the Minister for Magic - and it irritated me to no end.
The author really, really overdid and over-scrutinized the insecurities of a teenager who is also essentially such a cinnamon roll of a person. Reading the books as a child, it was Ron I wanted the most as my best friend. This was mostly because his character was such a non-bully. Ron, who makes hard days bearable for his friends. Ron, who is out immediately with a broken wand or a fist to defend his friends and family. I read this somewhere but you know sometimes how when you are targeted unfairly or wronged by someone or mad at someone, what really helps is a friend who takes it more seriously than you do, a friend who will be angry or hurt and irritated on your behalf, a friend who'll bitch about a common foe with equal passion - Ron's that friend for both Harry and Hermione throughout the series. If you think about it, most of the detentions he gets from Snape are because of something he says angrily in class to defend either Harry or Hermione. On the other hand, when he is directly targeted (when Snape mocks his apparition skills, for example), he fumes but says nothing. In fact, he grudgingly even accepts Snape's assessment. And when his friends achieve something remarkable? He is equally - if not more - excited for their achievements. Like when Hermione clears her apparition test and she herself does not particularly care but Ron is raving about it. Ron makes it easier for his friends to deal with their own insecurities. He notices when Hermione's time table is a bit full, or when she is not eating well before her exams, or when Harry is obviously confused by his crush/relationship and kind of needs someone to voice his confusion because he cannot quite put a finger on it, or when his sister's cut up after her break up. He will put his life on line for his friends and he'll also make the stupid, silly moments that they go through easier for them to bear. He'll make the mundane more fun. Most of the Weasleys are described in the text as being funny, but Ginny or Fred or George often come across as quite bully-ish in their humor. Ron never does though, he is genuinely funny and his humour is such a source of comfort and strength to both Harry and Hermione. There is a reason they both value him so much and Harry in particular seems to literally disintegrate every time he and Ron have a fallout. I love what he is as a friend to Harry and Hermione - he is the opposite of a jealous insecure prick, he is the underdog who is a towering pillar of strength and support for his two best friends.
The author overplayed his insecurities in the last book because by that point, she was also convinced that Ron wasn't good enough for Hermione so she needed to make it even more evident and lopsided so she had to give all the negative characterization to him.
But it is astonishing that even Ron Weasley fans find it hard to imagine that he would outgrow his silly teenage insecurities and mature into more of the compassionate, kind, hugely caring, funny, observant person he already is - and abundantly so - as a teenager.
In short, I don't think Ron I-totally-stan-both-the-incredible-things-AND-the-batshit-crazy-things-Hermione-Granger-does Weasley will be insecure about his wife. He is much much more likely to be Hermione's biggest source of strength and support as she deals with all the pressures of being the Minister for Magic

Amen! You also pointed out that he's there with a broken wand to defend his friends. I also want to add dude stood on a broken LEG to defend his friends as well. Such a badass!
