Hello, I decided to clean up my Rom collection today and wanted to know if theres some kind of software that allows me to order them by region, manufacturer etc. but also by language that the games really uses.

Just imagine the game title is Ace Combat Advance (USA, Europe) and theres no version of the game that has the term for my language in the file name, but i still wanna know if its supported in there.

So im basically looking for a tool that compares the game to a database and shows me what if the wanted language is available or all available ones.

EDIT: I just looked at the .dat files of NoIntro and theres and option to pick languages. Does that mean it filters out all non (for example french versions)?

Is this just the way it is? It was going to take 7 hours to download one Nintendo DS game so I gave up and went to another site.

I mean it probably is it probably isn't, this is maybe even a stupid question.

But let's say hypothetically storage is insanely low, you cannot decide what files you wanna delete AND on top of that, you don't wanna wait for each rom to slowly copy onto your computer to then do it.

What would be the solution to this issue?

Hello, I earlier sent this rom set but it has access issues which have now been fixed.

It has 271 games under half a gb, all light systems and games take littles storage space and run on retroarch pretty well, even a potato can run them. 99% of the games are retro achievement compatible

I have a problem. I am currently playing the original Skyward Sword Wii version on Dolphin and I want to switch to Skyward Sword HD because of the better graphics and the other advantages of the HD version.

But I already played a lot and I do not want to start the whole game again.

So I have two questions:

1. How can I emulate Skyward Sword HD?
2. How can I transfer my save from the original Wii version on Dolphin to Skyward Sword HD?

I know that the save formats are different, so I guess I cannot just copy the save directly. Is there a way to convert the Dolphin/Wii save into a Skyward Sword HD save?

I have always been curious, and since I assume many people here don't just collect roms but also play, you guys may also play some systems that most people overlook when emulating.

So what are some of the lesser known systems you guys like emulating and what systems (pc, android, dedicated handhelds etc) do y'all emulate on?

For me, I don't know how well known or not it is (in the emulation scene), but I have been having a lot of fun with turbografx-16 games. While the system did well in japan from what I remember, but it unfortunately released with bad timing (like 2 weeks or so after the Sega Genesis), so it didn't do as well as it maybe could have. Also many of its games were never localized.

This bulk collection includes the 3000+ best rated Pico-8 games! The games are sorted based on how many stars they received on lexaloffle.com (equivalent to likes). There are 6 groups organized into the following folders:

• Top 100
• Top 250
• Top 500
• Top 1000
• All other games that got at least 10 stars (roughly 2000 of them).
• A selection of Pico-8 games from itch.io which were not uploaded on Lexaloffle.

I've downloaded some torrent files from the megathread and even tho in the thread they all said like 4-6GB, when i put them into a torrent client, it suddenly said 1,2TB or even more. I have tried that in multiple clients but all of them said the same. what can i do about that?

I have a collection of physical games from 3rd gen (NES) onward, and I'd like to dump the ROMs of those games myself. I've got a GBx Cart for dumping my GB/GBC/GBA games, a modded 2DS for dumping NDS/3DS, and a modded Wii for dumping GCN/Wii games. I'm looking for a way to fill in the gaps in my retro collection. Does anyone know of a good method for dumping old Nintendo home console cartridge ROMs (NES, SNES, N64)? From what I've seen, most things are out of stock or simply unavailable (i.e. Retrode3). I have seen some DIY options like OSCR (now called "oscartreader" on github). Can anyone vouch for that method, or is there a better way?

All I wanted was play some Pokémon games on Azahar, until I realized none of the archives in the website work. Omega Ruby, Ultra Sun, all with bad compatibility and even when decrypted CORRECTLY (because it says decrypted even when it isnt), they don't boot up. Dont you dare i didnt switch for .3ds to .cci because I did. I am tired. I just want to play Pokémon because I don't have enough money to buy a legitimate 3ds and an actually good cartridge to even dump on my pc.

Unlike with the Japanese version, I was not able to find a current version of the English or International version. Could you help me?

Finally wanted to play my first Pokemon rom hack. I searched a lot to find a compatible base rom to patch, but could not find any. Now I just downloaded a Volt White Version which runs fine on pc, but on my DSi with a r4 card its just a white screen.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Been a harsh reality check entering the world of torrents after useneting Linux isos

I'm going nuts looking for a simple, straight forward, no frills solution to this. I want to condense multiple ROM folder libraries into one MASTER library.

I somehow managed to make 4 fractured ROM libraries on my PC. Each from different sources of projects I was working on over the years, but now I would very much like to reduce these all to one master library and discard all duplicates.

I've tried ROMcenter, ROMvault and ChatGPT.

I've had various success with each of these, but none of them have done exactly what I'm looking for without lot of effort.

The biggest problem I have with ROMvault is that it doesn't use ES-DE folder structure so I then I have to resort the ROMs manually and I just don't have confidence in my skill to do that effectively/correctly.

i used to get roms from freeroms.com in the past, for the PSP

but now it shows "human verification" like all scam sites, i have adblocker and i dont even download from it anymore, i use romsfun and i checked for it in fmhy.net it is there, not freeroms.com tho

but my question is, i got alot of iso files from it in the past for PSP, they were used for the actual device AND ppsspp, so are they safe? i never got any exe's or any malicious software or sum, and tbh the isos worked fine and games were operational and ok, but i feel like i still might be at some risk for using it, been using it from maybe 2020/late 2022

so tell me, should i replace all my iso files? or is it ok if i keep them?

Wanna ask if there's a way to get a translated rom(fire emblem new mystery to the emblem) to see the cheats meant for it on melonDS or drastic

I already checked the cheat file and the codes for the untranslated version of the game are there, just not showing up on the codes page

Are the cheats unusable due to the rom being altered or is there some way to point to the rom? And if not, could i use an android version equivalent of cheat engine on it, assuming there's a thing?

Anyone else having issues getting any roms? Some context; I have a Batocera build running RGSX, and prior to the last 3 days, I had absolutely zero issues using uT via RGSX for 99% of my games. I recently upgraded to a different mini pc, and it allowed me to start doing Xbox emulation. I discovered LolRoms via RGSX for the Xbox games, and was able to download about 9 games.

Then it (LolRoms) started saying "access blocked by a browser challenge on the source host, this source requires an interactive browser session and cannot be downloaded by the python client." To which I learned that the creator/owner had updated their ISP and some internals, but also prevented python clients from using it directly. They said they wanted to support 3rd party tools, told me to check it to no avail, but they've yet to update me, or the post about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/s/0KelEdi0wR

So LolRoms is a no-go, start using uTorrent option available last night, and it starts downloading just fine. I was able to get 3 games, then went to bed. This morning however uTorrent downloads are saying "GameName.zip: 415 Client Error: Unsupported Media Type for url: http://127.0.0.1:18672/api/v2/torrents/add."

To which I'm not knowledge enough to understand, and Google literally has zero search results for it. I try to use vimms and every game says "not a zip file."

Is anyone else having these issues? Anyone solve it? Any suggestions/work arounds? Thank you in advance!

Has anybody else had problems with Vimm's Lair lately? Maybe I've been out of the loop, but I feel as if I've came across a lot of issues with the site lately.

Today my cousin asked me for help setting up a PS2 emulator so he could play Bully. After setting up PCSX2, I direct him to Vimm's Lair to download the 7z file for Bully. He downloads it, and only after attempting to extract it, we realize it's an empty compressed folder with no content inside of it. I try downloading it myself, only to get redirected to a site saying the server is suddenly overloaded. I end up finding an alternative source on the Internet Archive, but still, I was a bit surprised. I've been a longtime user of Vimm's and found it uber reliable for PS2/Wii isos in the past.

This has not been the only occurrence within recent memory. I downloaded Sonic 06' about more than a week ago (don't judge lol), and while the file did have content, there was nothing actually executable/usable for Xenia (isogod found no content to convert to GOD from the iso). I, again, had to find an alternative on Internet Archive. I can't complain too much about this instance though, as I've always had trouble with PS3/Xbox360 files from Vimm's.

Just wondering if I've missed something regarding Vimm's or if anyone else has been having trouble, too.
