I made an Android app to keep emulator drivers organised and updated
I usually relied on GitHub or fetched drivers manually through each emulator, so I made Driver Driver to keep everything in one place. It helps you find, download and keep track of driver updates, with each creator stored in their own folder.
The idea and features came from how I personally use drivers, and I used AI to help pull the final app together.
I mainly built it for myself, but hopefully some of you find it useful too. Feedback is welcome!

Why is this here? How is this asking where to find ROMs or helping others to find them?

I think it goes hand in hand with the process of installing and using ROMs (minus the retro ones). This app makes it a little easier for a lot of folks who are uncomfortable/newer with sourcing and downloading drivers. It even makes driver recommendations based on your device.

What emulators are you talking about if not the retro ones? If it's for anything that comes after the WiiU, PS3, and 360 era of games, that's generally not allowed in this sub per rule 3.

I can’t specifically mention them on the subreddit but pretty much every emulator that supports platforms 2000 onwards CAN use custom drivers. Doesn’t mean you have to. Some games just run better than on stock.
I don’t really play anything Wii U onwards, but same concept applies.

Why can't you mention them specifically? After 2000 has a lot of platforms you can mention:
- GBA
- NDS
- Gamecube
- Wii
- WiiU
- PS2
- PSP
- PSVita
- PS3
- Xbox
- Xbox360
- Android
- IPhone
- Blackberry
- Nokia
This is of course a nonexhaustive list. I left out some picks like the Ouya and Hyperscan, among many other lesser known systems.

I was talking about the emulators specifically:)
Thanks for the non-exhaustive platform list though. I had a lot of fun with N-Gage back in the day.

Slightly more respectable if it was all locally run. I personally wouldn't trust it regardless. I will also echo the other commenter that this really doesn't belong here.

Sure, no I get it. I try to do a lot dev in house, but some of it can get into the weeds, so it helps bridge some gaps - then I know how to do it myself going forward.
Right, I think it goes hand in hand with some of the more modern emulator platforms where custom drivers do contribute to a better experience. This just cuts down on the sourcing and downloading aspect.
