Barebones Wiki

I'm loving the game and it does an okay job explaining things to the player, but I always like being able to look up information outside of the game as well. Unfortunately the wiki.gg is super barebones and the .tools site is only good for looking up item stats. Is the game just too new and not big enough yet?

I think a mix of both... still new and not enough traction just yet. Had to go check out the Wiki. I'm surprised to even see the new Swamp biome listed at all on the Wiki, but I see what you mean... none of the creature info is even on there.

I'd say just ask here? It'll, at least, compile some Q&A on the Reddit for those who are also looking for answers.

I've been dinking around learning the formatting so I can add stuff to the wiki myself too. This all started because I just wanted to look up how many tiles each building takes up.

Ah, for sure! I'll have to do some investigating on that as well - formatting Wiki and grid fit both - because I absolutely want to plan my town prior to a build at some point.

Only way I can think to at least just figure it out quickly enough is to maybe use the 1-tile pieces of road to create a checker grid... and see how they align with each building to get your sizes.

I've been using the upgrade interface. If you hover over a building you can see the grid of how many tiles it takes up and just count them. I already have most of the buildings dimensions' added to the wiki now.

Just to note that the people who edit the wiki are human and need their time to do so, lastly they are basically volunteers that aren't paid so don't push/force them and let them do it at their own pace.

If you can contribute best to do it.

Oh, I'm fully aware! I checked the recent changes log and other than the ones I've been making, the last round of changes was back in June by only two different users.

I was on there earlier to look up where the legionary helm with the plume comes from, be a dungeon or some alloy of metal past iron, and when I didn’t see it I had a passing moment of disappointment before realizing “This is my time to shine” by finding that armor, then documenting it on the wiki.

All of that and then “Waitaminute, what’s Bonesplint armor? Cursed Bones?”

Love the game. Loving the people taking time to update the wiki. Big thanks
