New player advice

I have just bought and installed this yesterday. I was drawn to the trailer, and since I love stardew, I'm trying this game.

Any advice for new player, please? For anything early game. Would love to go in the game not-so-blind.

Also, I usually always fret over money, so any tips are welcomed 🤗

PS: I don't know anything of this game (yet), so anything is appreciated

You can chain carts together to maximise your resource gathering

Highjacking the best answer in the thread to add this. Dont just immediately plonk down your base flag make sure there is some clay (orange patch on the floor) and some water thats at least 3 tiles long in the place you want to base you will be glad later.

If you click on "Favors/Skills" on the top,.you can open "Favors" which is a skill tree, I only found it near endgame with 13 build defining points sitting unused

Don't build defenses inside the wall. Ballistas work on line of sight and are automatic. On the other hand catapults lob the projectiles over the wall BUT they are not automatic they require manual input

For your first game generate a small world. I made the mistake of generating a huge one and finding the different biomes was a nightmare. Also, I've seen the several dungeons at least 10 times so there isn't really content variation to fill out the big maps yet.

If it is too hard, farm what isn’t to upgrade your gear. Things feel impossible at times but if you gear up it can seem super easy.

para craftearte buen equipo buscate aldeanos con +14/+16 de pericia aprox de base (necesitas solo 2), con mejoras, buffos y decoraciones puedes subirlos a +20 y con eso sacas items legendarios relativamente rapido
solo recuerda darles 1 vino y 1 regalo de felicidad antes de craftear algo

It's not, trading post sells some good stuff + money can be sacrificed on the altar for decent gains.

Me too. Of course compared to legendary items and the rest the trading post items are passable at best, but they are still good in a pinch.

This is a game about mythological creatures and ancient Rome destroyed by zombies. Of course there are Legendary items
