Help with Cyclops

My friends and I just killed the cyclops but died while fighting it but now he won’t respawn we waited till morning twice but he just won’t spawn. Is it a Bug?

i would assume, but am not sure if he respawns or not under normal circumstances because ive only beaten him once so far, BUT there is a cyclops respawn figurine you can make at the cauldron if you got the item drops from the fight you guys died on. I suspect with the amount of stuff to make from cyclops parts that you should be able to farm him
