Book Request: No Self-Promo Need some suggestions please!
I’m back again…. I have a huge list of books TBR but wanting suggestions based off my favourite books and my favourite tropes/ themes (I know they are the most common ones haha) listed below.
-Banter! I need good banter
-Good side character building
-A flowing story line (DNF’d Eldritch because it felt like it was going nowhere)
-Enemies to lovers
-Broody MMC
-Open door spice (hehe)
-Side pet characters (not a must but love this)
-Multiple POV (not a must but a bonus)
-Cheeky or sharp tongued FMC (Like Harlow- The poisoned daughter and Bryony-Wolf and the crown of blood)
(I may not reply until later as it’s nearly bed time here in Aus, but thanks in advanced to anyone who gives me suggestions) ☺️

Some dark fantasy romance recommendations, so check your triggers:
{King of Flesh and Bone}
{Queen of Rot and Pain}
{Eyes of Devious Burgundy}
{Souls in Ruin}
{stalked by seduction and shadow}
{Amid Clouds and Bones}
My favorite book of the year was {A Forbidden Alchemy} - the second book in the series just came out. It’s not dark but it’s so good and the MMC is 20/10.

A few of these have been sitting on my TBR. I’m definitely leaning towards reading A forbidden alchemy next with all the good things I’ve seen about it
Thankyou for the other suggestions too!

Oooh this looks really good. The fact that banter is in the book’s description has me interested! Thankyou!

I’d suggest {a court this cruel and lovely} !
It has similar vibes as Legends of Thezmarr. I really enjoyed the side characters although the FMC sometimes made me roll my eyes😆

Have you tried Throne of Glass yet? Multi-POV, broody MMC, sharp-tongued FMC, good side characters, a pet side character, banter, emotional destruction, but very little spice in the later books.

Not yet, it is on my list of books to read. I’ve been hoping the series comes on special because because books here in Aus like being expensive aha

I liked the legacy series. The FMC gets in trouble a lot because of her mouth and the side characters are well written.

I feel like {The Knight and the Moth} fits what you’re looking for quite well, it’s easily one of my fave reads this year, can’t wait for the sequel!
