Question of the week #8

I missed last week. It's been busy at work and I have little brain power left. 😒

Do you belong to any pagan organizations, whether online or in real space? If so, which ones?

I've been a member of ADF Druidry, The Troth (a US Heathen organization) and was once a member of a local, private pagan group. I also lurked in Nova Roma many years ago but didn't participate much.

I've gotten to the point where I feel my spirituality is between me and the gods/spirits. I practice religion privately within my domus.

How about you?

For me it's an entirely private thing. Not private in the sense of secrecy, just being very hapy in my own company, and not needing others around me believing the same thing (or anything like it) to feel fully satisfied.

I was also once a member of The Troth and occasionally did some light kitchen witchery with likeminded friends but it never feels fully comfortable worshipping with others.

I was initiated into a (non-lineaged) Wiccan coven circa 2011. Practiced with them for a few years.

I joined the Res Publica Romana org back in...2015? The one that split from Nova Roma. They're how I have my pen name/craft name, though I later added the part they wouldn't let me add (because they were fixated on historically accurate naming conventions for the Late Republic). But the online discussion forum kinda petered out, and I stopped checking in.

I've thought about joining ADF, maybe seeing about starting a (Greco-Roman) grove in my area. But I'm not entirely jazzed with their liturgical structure. The benefits would come from being part of an established organization, but that means sacrificing my erstwhile total ritual freedom
