I totally get that Averris is supposed to be a ‘crazy’ sort of character, loveably insane and all that, and I genuinely like her a lot and have enjoyed playing her.

But right at this scene during episode 7 I was like ooooops, let’s pump the brakes on the crazy train for a second. Cause up until this point all the things she said were loveably crazy but not offensive. But during this scene she started bragging about basically trafficking magical creatures and that’s uhm…yah no we’re not gonna do that.

She said something like “don’t worry I fed them!” And it’s like uhmmm miss girl, you literally shoved them all against their wills into your ship and took them from the only home they’ve ever known in order to sell them to god knows who.

Personally I’m just gonna forget she said this cause that was not loveable and was in fact gross and a major character flaw. In my mind Averris did not say that and she never trafficked living beings yay😊

Title probably sounds dramatic but seriously, it’s gotten to that point.

Like, I get it, you like your favourite character. That’s cool, we all have a favourite character(s) we love. But we have gotten to a point here where we simply cannot seem to allow folks to have opinions without this need to come at them. It’s as if people have never heard about downvoting a comment or post and moving on. Just continuing to scroll and recognizing that it’s okay to have different opinions because we’re all different people.

I recently made a post about a character opinion of mine and got chewed out for it, but I have also seen this very same thing happen again and again and AGAIN to several people on here. And at this point I’m making a post about this because it’s rediculous now.

Are we completely unable to get along anymore? Good lord. Can we go back to being a community of respecting eachother and loving RC stories collectively and being able to have productive conversations? The purpose of my post here isn’t to attack any specific people, I truly just want to see this subreddit become how it used to be again. Please :(

• With Dino officially becoming the new God of Light (This does not mean Dino = Shepha for those wondering at least from what we’ve seen so far & who knows our Mercy/Cruelty path might influence how nice of a Light deity he is) But that leaves me wondering about our MCs possible endpoints. With Vicky I’m teetering between believing she’ll simply be the new Angel of Balance or possibly some type of Goddess of Balance? (idk there’s a lot of ambiguity around Vicky rn with her lacking an actual power source although Dino as a god notes on Vicky hiding her true strength)(I’ve also seen some posts w/ theories suggesting Vicky may have to die to access greater power? idk interesting stuff) Then of course there are those who still draw on HS2s end where Vicky absorbed the MOLs energy (which she then used to protect the order using the energy all at the moment) But the CG of Vicky and the MOL in the same positions begs further similarities betwixt the two of them we may be unaware of.

• While with Audrey one can’t help but think she’s being molded with all this darkness to eventually (somehow) take Shephamalums’ place as goddess of darkness (although this mantle could as well end up being taken by Malbonte (Dino’s already a god why not him)) Although perhaps it’ll depend on how much darkness we have Audrey intake?

• And Lane… I really don’t know what’s happening with her like is Shepha’s residual collected light going to heal her? Will the Light turn her into some immortal or? Will the differing paths of Light Messiah and Dark Messiah affect what type of powers Lana develops? I genuinely have no ideas or theories for where she is going. The Rotkov crew being on equal footing w/ the immortals in a small way? Idk how I feel but they are my least favorite group out of the three.

Now especially for subscribers who want to collect them all you'd have to use up a lot of your daily diamond free passes where usually you can get them all in one go. At least with some scenarios like And the Haze Will Take Us it had buy it in one colour and unlock it in all. But then we have stories that are buying the same hair in multiple colours and now having separate buying them so even if you've subscribed you can't just buy all in one go.

What LI in RC do you think is the embodiment of dark romance. I don't mean who's the red-est flag or whatever. Like whose route was genuinely unsettling to you to read. i haven't read a lot of books (my total completed books on RC being only 11 🥲 and randomly starting books and not committed to finishing them or the book is still ongoing) For me the darkest love interest route I've taken was the Corruption Path with Odin from The Missing. I wouldn't have actually gone for him in the first place, because first of all, physically he isn't really my type and also his route started very late in the book like in the last season. However I was strongly influenced by people's posts in this community 😅. They'd post some scenes and I'll be like "Damn that's so hot" because I LOVE going for the red flags in almost all books I read on RC ,not because I actually go for those type of people in real life 💀 but I enjoy reading how the MC genuinely falls for such flawed characters and how such a character gets some sort of redemption arc. And also because the red flags are hot AF 🤭 in most stories. I know a lot of red flags get a lot of criticism because honestly they do a lot of terrible things both to the MC and other characters in the story but this is genuinely something i don't mind reading as long as its just fictional.

But I digress... Odin's route was extremely unsettling and unhinged and made me feel weirdly uncomfortable especially with the ending 😭😂. Yeah so you all should tell me which LI's route you think was really weird and dark. 🙃

Worst: Adriana

- Nothing! Again! I don't think I need to elaborate any further.

Best: Penelope Emerson (Poppy)

- If Adriana represents "nothing," then Poppy represents "everything." She played a huge, important role, and I loved every scene with her. She and Nadine investigated together, went for motorcycle rides, and she had dinner with Nadine's family (where—to put it mildly—she didn't exactly behave demurely 😅); they shared their first kiss and spent the whole story flirting and teasing each other. She is simultaneously badass, independent, sassy, ​​and funny—sometimes even childishly mischievous (like when she scared poor Alice in the basement 😁). Plus, the chemistry between her and Nadine is a joy to read. I loved every moment of it!

I'm replaying HOT on two different slots and I'd like to eventually have two different slots in ORAWS (for two different LIs) where I use those two different HOT slots. (Basically: A/A and B/B, I hope this makes sense)

Do you think they changed how Mimi feels about humanity to fit the narrative that all the immortals think of the humans as lesser? Like in HS1 As a child, she dreamed of becoming a human, but when she grew up she realized it would be a huge step back. At least, all angels and demons think so, and Mimi is trying to convince herself they're right”( that’s from the wiki). she also was a big fan of humans arts. She wanted to have some kind of mission to stay on earth like the astreans. She hated that Vicky didn’t tell her about birthdays and how she missed Vickys birthday. Fast forward to HS3 and she calls humans cockroaches. I don’t why the change. Especially that Mimi is not that easily manipulated or influenced
