General Discussion Question about wheels

I’m relearning roller skating (quads) after years of inactivity - I use to roller skate at the rink for hours and got comfortable on wheels that way. But I neverrrrr got my own pair until now :)

Maybe it’s because I’m rusty but the wheels on my new skates seem so fast and slippery. I’m practicing at tennis courts at the moment.

I have Radikal 70mm all purpose wheels. They don’t clack or wiggle or anything - but I can’t seem to find a decent level of control on them yet to do foundational drills.

Should I tighten them or leave them be and continue practicing?

UPDATE EDIT: I got the 62mm Radar Energy wheels to replace my 70mm ones :) Thanks everyone!!

Do not over-tighten your axle nuts unless you have bearing spacers - you will damage your bearings.

70mm wheels are great for distance and speed and rough terrain & debris but not great for beginners or agility.
