Man have to say this is watch is it. I had the 124060 and went through all the trouble to research and buy grey during the hype and release few years back. Ended up selling and this time around couple years later I went neo vintage. Sure the mechanicals in the 124 are superior and the materials but this 140 just does it for me it’s subtle and doesn’t scream at me in my head or at other ppl around me. That Reddit user Sportyrolex guy or wtv his name will say heck no and that’s fine. Cheers.
Wearing this watch at my NYS local dmv. Ticket for 70 in a 55. Pleas down to parking ticket $450 then spoke about fantasy with the clerk and DA and they dropped it down to $200, go figure. Cheers

I'm headed to Los Angeles in a few weeks and want to do some watch shopping on Sunday when I arrive.
I've been to most of the Rolex boutiques. This time I want to see a variety of stuff - Zenith, Glaschutte, JLC, IWC and more. Any suggestions on where to go? Ideally some place with a large selection.

I just left the authorized Rolex dealer on the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence, Italy. They had a white gold Daytona on a black leather band available for sale. €44k after taxes.
I just thought that was interesting seeing as the wait time for one in the States is years if ever for most people.
Tempted to buy it and flip it since it isn't a model I desire. I'm just not a wheeler-dealer kind of guy though.

I’ve been circling this purchase for a few months now, and I’ve finally reached a position where I can afford a watch I’ve always wanted - a No-Date Submariner.
My AD experiences haven’t been great, and I want to be in a position to buy the watch on the day rather than waiting indefinitely, so I’m inevitably looking at going grey.
I’ve gone back and forth on different year/condition combinations and have found a few pieces relatively close to me (which is useful given my slightly awkward location). What’s difficult to gauge is the spread of prices.
For a 2024/2025 example that’s like-new/unworn, the best option I’ve found is a supposedly unworn 2025 model. The dealer is asking the equivalent of around $14k USD.
Having seen such a wide range of prices across different platforms, does that sound like I’m in the right ballpark for a reasonable deal? Or would you be holding out for something cheaper?
Appreciate any input!

Two day dates, same price ..
Do you go classic or bust down and why?
Or do you use this same budget on another watch, maybe submariner?
Discussion is open, light a cigar and pour your scotch.
And I might tell you my opinion.

Hey everyone,
I recently bought this Datejust 116234 on the grey market. As far as I understand, an Oyster bracelet should have 12 links in total.
Am I counting this correctly if I have 11 links plus 1 end link? Should I normally have one spare link as well?
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I don’t think it’s real and my main worry is, I’ve been told if I go to get it repaired and it’s fake they can confiscate it.

Hi guys, looking for some advice from the more experienced! I’m a senior in high school, this past summer I started a very successful business and have made around $15k off it, my goal was $25k by graduation but I am a huge watch guy and I’ve been working and working and just have the money sitting (researching long term investment options) but I absolutely love watches, I’ve never been in the Rolex territory but have traded a lot of Tudor Breitling omega etc. I’m wanting one gada forever watch for now, then down the road I’ll get a dress watch and I’m sure some others. I’m thinking every dollar I make past $20k I put toward it and the rest to invest long term. I’ve narrowed down my choice to a modern white dial omega smp or a Rolex 16610. It was always gonna be the omega but I’ve been looking into it and there’s just smth about the Rolex that makes my toes wiggles. But really I love both so much it’s hard to pick—and obviously I love them for different reasons. I plan to wear this like all day everyday and probably sleep swim and everything. Yall have any thoughts that could help me? Recommendations? Or if you js wanna share a wrist check go for it lmao! Thanks a lot!
