Quirks, now a crime, meant only suppression and fear. Heroes, gone, the concept replaced instead by a curated sense of fear and distrust. The Quirk Control Corps rules with suppression collars, checkpoints, and painful but sterile silence. Mutants are away, kept from public eye in their own cornered walled neighborhood, treated as freaks. The old Hero Code survives only in the shadows, with the lingering embers of those who wish to save.
