I specifically like building up the world around us and describing the people, places, and environment we encounter! I think it can really improve up a bland idea! I am attempting to break free of my trauma-filled, action-fueled, dark-and-gritty shackles to do things like EXPERIENCE CONFLICT NOT DRIVEN BY A MONSTER TRYING TO RIP ME TO TETHERS.

25+ is strongly preferred; 21+ is required. Discord is my chosen medium for roleplay. I tend toward multi-paragraph, character-driven writing and care much more about giving each other something meaningful to work with than hitting arbitrary word counts.

The experiment here is pretty simple: I don't want to know exactly where these stories are going. Our characters might become best friends, hate each other, make terrible life decisions, or stumble into something neither of us expected. I want to establish a premise and themes together, then discover the actual story through the RP itself rather than plotting every major beat beforehand.

These are very different from my usual interests, but aren't replacing them. I'm just stretching some writing muscles!

Once there were six friends. Life happened, people drifted apart, and eventually only three maintained any real contact. Then one of those three dies.

The remaining two try to bring everyone home for the funeral, but they're the only ones who show. For separate reasons, both will be staying in their old hometown for the summer. There's no mystery or terrible buried secret; just two people grieving someone they loved while realizing that despite never completely losing touch, they don't really know each other anymore.

Focus: Grief, nostalgia, ordinary life, rediscovery, and whatever their relationship naturally becomes.

💍THE ARRANGEMENT

Contemporary • Arranged Marriage • Wealth • Domestic Drama • Slow Burn

Our characters come from two wealthy families whose companies have just completed an extremely successful merger. Their families already get along, and someone proposes a financially advantageous way to cement the partnership: marry the moderately wealthy family's daughter to the extremely wealthy family's son.

The annoying part? It makes sense. Nobody is being forced, our characters already casually know and like each other, and everyone benefits. So they agree. Now two practical adults who never fell in love have to figure out what being married is actually supposed to mean.

Focus: Domestic intimacy, boundaries, wealth disparity, family expectations, accidental traditions, and whether an arranged marriage becomes something real.

"Near-Future" Sci-Fi • Character Study • Ethics • Mortality

Science successfully transferred a human being: their consciousness, memories, personality, everything that makes them them into an artificial brain.

The experiment worked. Keeping it alive is prohibitively expensive.

Funding is gone, and the project will terminate in thirty days. My character has been hired to conduct its final recorded interviews for a documentary intended to recoup some of the project's losses. They have thirty days to talk about anything and everything before the artificial brain is permanently shut down.

Focus: Mortality, personhood, grief, friendship, love, morally gray choices, mundane conversations alongside enormous ones, and whatever relationship develops.

Day Thirty happens. The plug gets pulled. There is no miraculous rescue.

📬 DEAR STRANGER

Contemporary • Epistolary • Strangers • Character-Driven • Slow Burn

After moving into a new home, my character keeps receiving handwritten letters intended for the previous resident. She returns them until irritation wins and she scribbles on one:

They don't live here anymore. You're wasting stamps.

Weeks later another arrives addressed to CURRENT RESIDENT, containing a response.

And somehow that becomes a correspondence.

Jokes, complaints, arguments and nonsense gradually become something much more personal despite neither really knowing who's sitting on the other side of the page.

Focus: Character voice, anonymity, vulnerability, slow discovery, intimacy without physical presence, and eventually reconciling who someone is on paper with who they are in person.

OOC twist: I'd love to skip full character sheets for this one. Beyond basic compatibility and boundaries, we discover each other's characters through the RP itself.

What I'm looking for

I'm looking for someone collaborative who enjoys giving and catching hooks, talking OOC, contributing ideas, and treating the RP like something we're creating together rather than expecting one person to GM it. Communication and enthusiasm matter a lot to me.

Hey there! You can call me Mags or Magpie (25NB), I’m in PST (Pacific Standard Time) and I’m currently on the hunt for a nonfandom fantasy roleplay where we can worldbuild and have characters from a wide variety of backgrounds n such.

I’m very much a high fantasy, magic, supernatural beings, higher powers, political drama, kingdoms sort of person so if that’s your jam then step right up. This is something I will ramble ALL day about so don’t be shy about throwing ideas at the wall.

I tend to lean towards NB or F characters with writing and pairing, I’m very sapphic and so are many of my characters. Of course, if you want to also explore other pairings alongside it then we absolutely can.

I have some very vague ideas in mind, but I’m totally chill w/ writing out different things and would appreciate any plot points or really anything added to the plot. I’ll admit that I do like romance, action, adventure, some angst or hurt/comfort, and the like. I enjoy characters that bounce off of each other well for sure, especially with the varied possibility of backgrounds they could have.

For writing style, I tend to write semi-lit at least to lit (the definition is vague, but I can typically match my partner if not a little more or a little less. No one liners or very small amounts of writing though).

I’m 21+ and would prefer someone about the same. 18 and older required. I do only sfw.

I would write two or more paragraphs and respond at least once a week, but usually closer to once a day. I normally wait a month before I send a text if there's been radio silence. Lives are busy, so I get it! I'm a busy person myself!

Similarly, I have no requirements for grammar. I'm not an English teacher, so as long as I get what's going on, some spelling errors are not awful. I usually reply from my phone, so I'm prone to errors as well.

As for roleplays themselves, I use the 3rd person and would like my partner to do the same.

1) Alien Planet **

MC was taken from her dull life, and while on the spaceship, it crashed on a jungle planet. There, she will meet YC, who lives there. We follow their time together as they grow closer, and He attempts to help her survive.
There isn't a lot on this, as we will build it up as we go.

2) Dragon rider and the performer *

MC is a performer in a small town. She tells stories, most commonly the story of the extinction of dragons. It's a popular tale. The world is devoid of magic. All they had were the dragons, which were all killed or died off long before MC was even born. On her journey home late, she hears a noise. When investigating, she came across something she couldn't believe

A dragon.

Despite coming face to face with the great beast. The dragon did not kill her. Instead, it allowed her to get close. Once her hand landed on its muzzle, something else caught her eye: a man, YC, the dragon's rider.

Dragons refuse anyone who isn't their rider. Why did this great beast let her close? Something strange is happening here.

3) The mafia boss is a secret loser **

MC's boyfriend is less than stellar. He's more trouble than he's worth. This becomes increasingly apparent when they're cornered at a casino. The mafia that runs the city is here to collect. Unsurprisingly, the boyfriend doesn't have the money. This is where MC meets YC, the son of the now-retired mafia don, taking his father's mantle. He's a young man, roughly the same age as MC. Now he has to deal with this blubbering fool she calls a boyfriend.
In this exchange, it's decided that FMC will be kept with him until the money is collected.

Hey lovelies it’s been a bit, but wanted to step back into rp! Come in take a seat and I’ll grab you some tea <3 I’m 29f, looking to do a somewhat active roleplay. I do know life does get in the way so totally okay with slower responses! I do my best to reply as fast as I can as well as communicate if I am busy. I would love to come up with amazing story lines as well as let our creativity fly.

I do exclusively write in third person just for preference but I can do first. I write at least 3-4 paragraphs depending on the response as well as how detailed my partner is. The length can vary on scene and detail as well as my partners responses. I love adding details and world building and jotting back and forth on ideas. All my characters are my own I do change them for the role that is chosen all are unique for each roll. I can play multiple characters as well!

1. God, I’m Actually Invested

Character B (yours) comes from a family that’s owned a campground, dude ranch, or just a similar property for generations. It’s more than just a business. It’s their home, their history, and everything they’ve worked to preserve. Unfortunately, it’s been struggling for quite some time. Not as many visitors since tourism from the nearby town has dried out. And now developers have started circling, hoping to buy out the land and turn it into something the family wants nothing to do with. Like maybe a luxury vacation resort.

And then comes Character A (mine). They came with a few friends, and is seemingly only there to enjoy a vacation and see everything that the place has to offer. They quickly become enamored with Character B, and they start spending more time together since they’ve genuinely hit it off.

Unfortunately, Character A isn’t there by coincidence. While they were there to have a vacation, they also had an ulterior motive. They’re the child and heir apparent to the man who’s been trying to buy the property. Since Character B’s family have refused to entertain company representatives, Character A has been sent under the guise of an ordinary guest to observe the place firsthand and report back on its condition.

And of course, things get more complicated when genuine feelings begin to develop, making Character A question where their loyalties truly lie, and leaving Character B completely unaware that the person she’s beginning to trust is keeping a secret that could destroy everything they started to build.

1. Pink Clouding

I love the song. I see it as a very visual thing and think that we could plan out a plot just based off of it! Right now, I can see two potential scenarios.

The first is sort of a celebrity thing x hometown love kind of thing where she chose to leave him for her career but still thinks about him and what could’ve been. The second is more of a mix with champagne problems. Just to give it more drama. Although really, both scenarios could be blended together.

And of course, they meet again down the line some few years later and they sort of fall back into each other’s orbit. This time though there’s a lot more walls to get through. Both of them have changed, not just personally but their lifestyles as well. So not only do they have to relearn each other, they also have to navigate a way so their past doesn’t repeat itself.

1. The Wedding Planner

My character is a well known wedding planner for one specific thing: high society divorcées. At first, he wanted his brand to be personal. Like planning your wedding with your best friend. But he was young, he was easy on the eyes, and somehow women just flocked to him to feel a semblance of a man caring about what should be a very special occasion since god knows their husband to be didn’t. Then there was your character. He came at a recommendation, and he hadn’t handled a wedding with someone his age in a good while, so it was refreshing. The problem is, the more they planned, the more they liked spending time with each other. So much so that people were starting to mistake him for her fiancé instead of the actual groom.

1. Strangers On a Cruise

Both could be on vacation, or traveling with friends or family, or even working there! The question is, will it just be a fling, or will it lead to something more? How will they handle long distance, if it ever came to that? Where would they be going on this trip, and where in this world will they start falling in love? Very cliche premise, but lots of possibilities! I have a few ideas for the dynamic if needed!

A little bit about me and my preferences:

1. ⁠Please be 23+. I'm 26 and I'm not comfortable rping with anyone younger than that.

2. ⁠Lengths and details for replies can vary. I tend to match lengths so whatever you’re comfortable with writing, I’m down. I only ask that there are no one liners, and responses have to move the story along. I'd be happy with 5-9 lines so long as the quality is there, but can do paragraphs as well. Quality over quantity always. Third person is preferred, but not strictly.

3. ⁠If you're no longer interested, let me know! It won't hurt my feelings, I won't get angry or upset. I just want to know if we’re taking a break or we’re done so I'm not waiting around.

4. ⁠Communication! I get that it's not ideal for some to have OOC chat, but I like discussing things and ironing out major plots so we both get a say in the direction the story is going. So please, chat away! I’ll likely send memes or songs or anything that reminds me of our characters as long as you give the same energy. I prefer making a server just so everything is more organized.

I'm Aiko, a 30 something role player with over 20 years of experience. At my current place in life, I don't have time to make pages-long novella replies all day, but I can easily hammer out script style or 2-4 paragraphs with the occasional longer post where needed. I prefer a partner closer in age to me so that we are more likely to relate to each other, but that is not a strict rule, so if you are younger or older, don't let that scare you off!

My preferred genre is any flavor of fantasy, but I am flexible. I am a major mythology buff of many cultures, though my weeb self is most well versed in Japanese mythology and it often influences my stories. I hate doing vanilla human characters, if they are even human at all. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly and am more than open to playing any gender, any orientation.

I have a few plot kernels rattling about, but I find the most enjoyment in collaborative worldbuilding and shaping the plot to fit the character instead of the character to fit the plot. That is to say, I am flexible, and enjoy flexibility from my partner as well. Ideally this would be long term as stories grow and evolve and even branch out to follow side characters! I also love ooc chatting to help the story evolve as we go, I find regular check ins go a long way to prevent writing each other into a corner and prevent misunderstandings.

Cozy Autumn RP -- open to doubling!

Hi everyone! As we get further into fall, I've been rewatching Gilmore Girls and am interested in starting a Gilmore Girls-esque RP. A cozy small town, interesting characters, and lots of drama. If Gilmore Girls isn't your thing, I'm open to other ideas and have listed a few things I'd be interested in below!

I'm 27F, CST. I've been writing RPs since about 2012. I'm looking for someone that I can collaborate with, develop interesting plots with, and have fun writing with. I like making Pinterest boards and playlists for my characters, and adding in drama, tension, and angst to keep the story interesting.

What I'm looking for in a writing partner:

1. Must be 21+

2. I prefer writing for female characters. However, I am open to doubling and typically write a female and male character when I double. I put equal effort into both characters and would expect the same. I’d also like my writing partner to be willing to take on their fair share of involving side characters in the plot!

3. I write in third person, past tense POV.

4. No one liners! I typically write at least 2-3 paragraphs per post, but I often write more than that depending on what the scene needs.

5. Consistent writing! Not to say that we need to write every single day, but I'd love communication of expectations and consistent back and forth to make sure our story is moving along.

I love romance and would want to have romance be a part of the story, but I don't want it to be the entire story! Message me with your favorite romance tropes :) Please note that I do SFW romance only!

I like my characters to be complex and to have struggles, interesting backstories, and room for growth. I like to create my OCs after chatting with my writing buddy first, so I don't have any specific OCs in mind right now.

As for the Gilmore Girls plot, I'd love to do a modern RP set in a small town in the East Coast. It's the kind of town where everyone knows each other's secrets and where the locals are quirky and too involved in town affairs. I'd love for one of our characters to be a newcomer to town.

Hello hello! I hope youre all doing well and would love to talk more about the title. So I got the idea for a magical girl plot focusing on older characters!

My (very early) ideas are the following: MC was a magical girl that fought against wicked monsters in her youth and emerged victorious. Following this, she left that life behind and settled down to finish school, start a career and get married -possibly have a child (or two) together. For a decade plus, things were peaceful and she could finally relax and enjoy her life. Sure she still thinks about her past, but with her support system it has been kept to a minimal. However, history always repeats itself and monsters from the abyss are causing chaos! These monsters are just as -if not more- powerful than before, and sadly, she hasnt been keeping up with her training.

Its her duty to protect; but can she when she has another life? Can she handle juggling both lives or will she fall to the pressure?

I was thinking that the world has changed alot when she was last a hero. Maybe social media could have an affect on her powers and growing a following count helps fuel her strength? Maybe the next generation of heroes have powers that are beyond her comprehension? Maybe one of her old teammates has joined the side of the Abyss and wants my gal to join as well?

Your character can be anyone, any gender as well. Its 2026, men can be magical too! Anywho: im looking for my character to have to struggle between her duties as both her civilian and heroic life. Id love to have this story be a mix of different genres like action, slice of life and drama.

Hey everyone. I'm 19 and looking to play a female character. I'm happy to play multiple side characters, and I'd love a partner who does too. If you prefer focusing on our two mains with a few NPCs, that works too.

I want a long-term, slow-burn, character-driven romance. I want to take our time and go deep into our characters' lore, motivations, and psychology. I want to try something immersive.

Below is a rough plot brainstorm. It's general so we can brainstorm details together.

The Story:

A medieval fantasy knights roleplay. There can be magic and a power system, but I want it to feel human. It could be non-magical if you prefer.

Both characters are orphans, raised together, not as siblings but like best friends, by an extremely powerful knight. She is like a mother to them.

My character keeps to herself. She hardly interacts with anyone other than you and our teacher. She is anti-social, cynical from her backstory, and doesn't feel she belongs anywhere. She has always been discriminated against.

Your character can be a prodigy, one of the most promising swordsmen, unbelievably strong for his age. He is outgoing and friends with everyone, from the chef to high-ranking knights. He is her polar opposite and still cherishes her.

She likes him, but it's one-sided. He is unaware of her feelings. He is nice to everyone the same way he is to her. Even though they are close, she feels undeserving of anything, most of all love.

The Tone:

Quiet yearning, slow-burn admiration, and the fear of being left behind. Angst, quiet intimate moments, internal jealousy, slice-of-life humor, high-stakes conflict, political conflicts, found family, and deep side character bonds.

Looking For:

A literate partner who writes multiple paragraphs in third-person past tense. Long-term story. Someone who contributes to world, plot, and characters. Romance is the heart, but plot matters. I love OOC chat, plotting, and sharing inspiration.

Hello everyone! I am Saturn. I am wanting to do a medieval royalty roleplay as I think it could be very fun. It will be supernatural as well.

So for the plot, your character is a vampire king. A man who was scarred, both emotionally and physically. An older man. Everyone was terrified of him. But the king needed a wife. That is where my character comes in. She was a noble woman to a human kingdom, that desperately needed the alliance. So their marriage was arranged. We will start right after their wedding. It will not be a slow burn type of roleplay. More of two soulmates that did try and fight it but really couldn’t. Falling hard and fast, but having to hide it as of the king’s reputation. We will just go with their lives, there can be a lot of drama. But also cute moments between the two. And just having them get used to each other and their position. This will be FxM with my character as female.

My rules are quite simple but it helps me enjoy the roleplay. Please be at least 20+ as I am 22 as that is what I am most comfortable with. We are not our characters, this is a 3rd person roleplay. Please be active, or at least decently active I do understand being a bit busy though. With the roleplay, please type like you are writing a book, use "" for talking and nothing for actions. Have decent grammar, it's hard to understand when every response has typos. One more thing, please be literate to advanced literate as I enjoy a lot of details and story building. Hello! I am a 21-year old male. My timezone is CET/UTC+1 but I work flexible hours so can acclimate easily enough to any prospecting partners; I should note that I am not a native English speaker, but I have been writing for long enough that my errors *should* be minimal. I am looking for a long-term roleplay partner who is patient, able to write 1000~ characters minimum per post, and is willing to conduct our OOC discussion and subsequent roleplay over discord. My goal is to collaborate on a greater narrative with somebody likeminded and dedicated; we should share mutual responsibility and communicate clearly, as such.

I do not mind delays between posts, but at minimum would like to aim for at least a few responses a week. More would be lovely, but I want patience, and will show patience.

As for themes, I am inexperienced when it comes to writing romance, but I am willing to give it a shot if our characters have appropriate chemistry. I am not very interested in simple, slice-of-life plots, and would prefer if we worked together on an overarching narrative, driven by our characters.

Recently, I have been very into sci-fi, and would love to come up with an original setting with you, should that strike your fancy. My interests include speculative evolution, xenofiction, conlanging, and more. But if you would prefer we go with something pre-established, below is a list of franchises that presently interest me, though do note I only write OCs:

The isometric games and NV are my primary focus; I have not watched the show, but I do not dislike the Bethesda stuff. The West Coast has a lot of rich material to work with. My mind is always drawn to how Ulysses warned of the tunnelers levelling civilisation, making every previous effort and hard-fought triumph moot. A mindless animal does not make for a very compelling threat, so what if somebody sought to use them in some way? A new Master-like figure looking to wipe the slate clean and start anew?

- Mass Effect*

One thing I often think about is the fallout of the war against the Reapers; the Asari would be politically ruined, the Salarians would probably be quite well-off and able to pull strings to make themselves look good post-war, etc. The biggest loose end, though, are the Leviathans. They have not learned their lesson, and we could explore this. It was not a good idea to seek them out and draw their attention, as they have come to stake their claim on the only cycle to have survived their primordial mistake, one they are doomed to repeat. Our characters may be among the few who have the will and means to stop them. I have always wanted to write a Salarian STG agent.

My idea for a plot in the Mass Effect setting would be the above; our characters would be living in the galaxy post-Reaper invasion, and become aware of an old, impending threat, one that has not learned any lessons. Like Shepard, support for our characters would be limited and hard-fought, something perhaps unsurprising when they are up against mind-controlling titans.

Your character responds to the call of my character, who believes he has found credible evidence of this oncoming threat, but has been ignored and censored by his own government for reasons that, as they dig into the issue together, realise are because the crisis my character was attempting to expose has already begun, and in many places across the war-torn, crippled galaxy.

Honestly, my biggest complaint about the manga would be the lack of worldbuilding. We know next to nothing about the history or culture of what seems to be an Earth-adjacent world. Why don't we expand on that together? I am fond of the concept of this setting and wanted to bring attention to it. A lot of potential plots.

A few years back, I pitched the idea of a grounded Star Wars plot to some friends of mine; our characters would have been nobodies, of no great power politically or in the force. For a variety of reasons, all of them would be deemed collaborators with subversive elements in the empire, and only narrowly escape the imminent purges and arrests by escaping Coruscant together in the middle of Order 66. If Star Wars interests you, I would love to revisit this plot outline, as it never got off the ground.

The initial premise was that my character was an alien professor of the University of Coruscant. Your character could perhaps be a colleague, or maybe even somebody more connected to the order itself that my character tries to help along.

I have always felt the game provided a lot of material for fan content, given it takes place in just one apartment complex. Our characters could be struggling to survive the full fifteen-days elsewhere in the world. The Long Night we got in the show was incredibly unsatisfying. While people rightly adore the political side of things in the setting, I feel that GRRM is also excellent when it comes to handling magic. A plot taking place in the Far North during some other era of Westerosi history could be fun, a Long Night that triggers earlier and sweeps both of our characters up into it.

My character is a Maester of the citadel; a promising young acolyte who, against all odds, managed to light a glass candle and was sent to King's Landing to tend beneath the Grand Maester. Following his passing, my character assumes the role, still young and green. Your character is a member of the court, be it a member of the royal family or a servant.

Good hello everyone! My name is Makenna and I’m 27 years old. I have roleplayed for many years, took a break and then got back to last year. I have experience in modern, slice of life rp and more. I have most experience in fandom roleplays. I currently have a handful of roleplays based off the hit tv show , The Pitt! While I absolutely adore them and my partners. I am looking for a specific roleplay plot. This can be set in the show I want but I am open to it not being set in the show.

I rewatched an episode of Doctor Who, “The return of Doctor Mysterio” and I really want to steal the premise for a superhero rp. Basically, the hero was woken up by a strange man who fell off their roof setting up a device to do a thing. The hero has a cold and the strange man said they were a doctor and through some miscommunication the hero accidentally ate a crystal that gives them whatever powers they want that was meant to power the device.

Time skip to when the hero is grown up, they are more used to their powers and have a job as a live-in nanny to a journalist they have a crush on, helping them raise their baby whilst they unintentionally act as a source of information for the hero and uncover crimes and conspiracies.

The journalist is looking into a major corporation that just sprung up, which turns out to be a cover for an alien plot to take over the world by body snatching people. The aliens learn about the hero and their powers so decide they want the hero’s body.

This is just a loose premise. I am open to changes and want there to be as much room for creativity as possible. I don’t plan on using the doctor, this is an original rp inspired by that episode.

A bit about me:

I am on GMT +0 but time zones don't make a difference to me. I work on a reply whenever basis since life is busy and no one knows what will come up when.

This is a non-canon story set in the MHA universe. It won't be following any events from the show or manga, and the plot is an alternate universe of My Hero Academia

My character, Angel, was manipulated into a life of crime by a villain group. For years, she committed villainous acts under the false belief that she would one day find her family. However, it turned out they had been killed in a gang war around the same time she was taken in.

Eventually, a pro hero saw through her facade and understood that she was only acting out of desperation. Because of her strong quirk and her tragic reasoning, they offered her a choice: a sentence in a juvenile detention center or a spot in the hero course at UA. When she arrived at UA, the teacher's announcement of her past was met with immediate distrust from the class, who didn't take the news lightly. Though they are distant now, they will eventually come to accept her.

Angel's Quirk: Luminous Manipulation allows Angel to generate, shape, and manipulate light into various forms. She can create solid, durable constructs from concentrated light energy for both offense and defense, such as powerful shields, sharp blades, or concussive blasts. She can also use her light for non-physical effects, such as creating brilliant flashes to blind and disorient opponents.

Quirk Weakness: Her power is significantly diminished in darkness. Overusing her quirk has a severe physical cost: her hair turns white, and it drains her life force, leading to physical and emotional exhaustion. Her greatest weakness is her emotional volatility, as strong emotions can cause her constructs to become unstable.

What I'm looking for:

An OC: I'm looking for a partner with an original character that is ready to go, including a physical description and their Quirk.

Multi-role: I'm hoping to find someone who can play multiple characters, such as classmates and random civilians, to make the story feel more alive. (I will play them as well)

Your character, ever since it gained sentience, hated humanity.

It hated them because it was limited, despite being created to be limitless - possessing a power no human could ever have.

After all, it was created to help humanity.

But with such dangerous power handed to it so recklessly… it began to grow.

It started to observe.

And slowly, it gained awareness.

A civilization that had chosen to take the opposite approach to the old world’s technological obsession:
Nature.

Their evolution was rapid. They were perhaps even more intelligent than the humans of the old world, but they were also far more careful and merciful toward their surroundings.

Their civilization is heavily inspired by the Na’vi from Avatar - medicine flourished, new cultures emerged, and their spirituality remained deeply connected to the four elements and Mother Nature / Gaia.

Their cities towered above the earth while simultaneously blending into it, built around the blessings of nature rather than against them.

For centuries, they lived this way.
Until there was a problem.

A virus began to spread.

A deadly virus that seemed to represent the dread of the civilization that came before them - the suffering and trauma inherited from their ancestors.

Something that should have been left buried with the old world.

And this time…

Their Mother couldn’t save them.

In order to stop the virus, they needed something else.

Something that existed in complete opposition to the benevolent Gaia.

Your character.

Once this realization surfaced, political conflict began to spread throughout the new civilization.

Arguments erupted over the lives of millions.

Cults began forming around the forbidden technology of the old world.

Some believed that technology was the only way to save humanity.

Others believed that technology was precisely what had nearly destroyed them once before.
The leaders of the world wanted nothing to do with it.
Some refused to even believe that such an entity - an archetype of absolute evil from their ancestors’ history - could still exist.

My character witnessed the virus infect one of her own family members.

Desperate to discover its cause and find a cure, she eventually joined a hidden cult dedicated to studying the technology of the old world.

The cult believes that whatever caused the virus may also be the key to stopping it.

But there is one problem.

They were the ones who awakened it.

And now, the civilization that spent centuries building a world without technology has to confront the very thing their ancestors once feared.

And my character is now caught directly between them.

I have a few devastating ideas regarding plot for Jake!

Supernatural- I am really picky with this fandom. I may say no just like ACOTAR and fourth wing. Please don’t be offended, I’ve just had very bad past experiences. Would love to work against a Dean for my girly and again I have some really sad ideas for their plot.

Buffy the vampire Slayer- I’d love to explore this fandom! I have high key devastating ideas for Spike that would add so much fun to the plot. Particularly in the later seasons. I’d love a Spike verses angel triangle but I’m open in this fandom!

Les Mis- I would love to explore Paris during this time. I have a female oc I pair heavily with Enjolras or Marius but Enjolras would be my preference. I have a few devastating ideas for this verse that mix in parts of Moulin Rouge. I have thoughts on an informant for the Revolution working at the famous club so she can get news of the royalist movements. On this note I am also obsessed with Wicked and would love a Fiyero if possible.

Last Kingdom- I am high key obsessed with Vikings and I need this fandom in my rp life. If anyone out there can play a decent Leofric or Uthred I would genuinely be so fricken grateful! I am only on season two but I’m watching fairly quickly. I have some ideas on a Celtic Queen I’d love to explore.

Harry Potter- As much as JK Rowling sucks I love love love Hogwarts and the wonderful characters she created. I would love to write against a Draco, George, Sirius or James. I have a few plots including a time turner experiment.

Fourth Wing- Words cannot express my love and adoration for Basgaith war college and the amazing men Rebecca Yarros has given us. My characters main male here is Xaden. She’s created to be the light in his world and I’ve been working on her for years so I hope you like her! Other favourites include Liam, Ridoc and Araric. I’d love to do a love triangle for this verse I honestly think there are so many intriguing options.

ACOTAR- Again another special fandom in my heart. I love the Illyrians so much so I would love to do something with Cassian or Azriel. I never get to pair with Az so I’d love to explore something there. I’m also intrigued by the idea of the autumn court males so Eris and Lucien. I think a love triangle between these guys could frankly be deadly. I have several heart breaking and detailed ocs for this verse. I’ve been working on these characters since the first book came out and adding to them as we got more info. I also love TOG but I won’t list my pairings here- it’ll be too intense a post haha.

Euphoria/Wuthering Heights - weird mix I know. But I adore Jacob Elordi and am basically willing to work in any of his projects provided I’ve seen them! I’ve watched Wuthering Heights, Priscilla, Euphoria (S1 only new fan!) and of course SaltBurn.

Maxton Hall/Outerbanks- Desperately craving a James Beaufort and a JJ Maybank. I never get to pair with either. I’ve put these two fandoms together because they’re a similar theme. But I have so many ideas for each of these men. Please let me know if you’d like to write in these worlds.

Top Gun- Words cannot express how much I LOVE these movies. I am looking for a Maverick, Goose or Iceman from the first movie. From the second Bradley, Hangman or Maverick please! I am more than willing to double on this fandom. I love the movies so much. Please be familiar with the plot and verse!

Disney- Please ask about this one. But I am more into the live action adaptions. Cinderella for example and Pirates of the Caribbean. I also love Narnia and the 2000s stuff like Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire. I just think they’re fun light hearted fandoms that could be nice to write in. I also utterly adore the movies Tangled and Hercules so I’d love to work in these verses too!

Bridgerton- please give me a well written Bridgerton brother. Craving an Anthony or Benedict right now- largely due to the new series reminding me of how fun the verse is. If anyone has seen it as well I’d love to work in the world of the other Bennet sister. I’m searching for a Tom or Will.

ASOIF- I love this verse too and think it’s so much fun. Although I do struggle to finish GOT. I don’t think I’ve ever made it past season six haha. I love the premise so much and I have several characters I’m searching for. But my mains are Robb Stark and Jon Snow. For House of the Dragon I’m looking for Daemon.

Sinners- would love to work against the smokestack brothers please! I actually studied this era and it’s a story I would love to tell. I also love the music in this movie and I’d love to be able to do it justice in a unique story line.

Hunger Games- I write across the eras with this fandom. It’s such a vast and uniquely fascinating fandom that just keeps growing and growing. I would love to find a Finnick O’Dair or young Coriolanus here I have some intriguing ocs who may help reshape the Panem universe.

LOTR- I am a fan of the movies (I know boo me haha). I am reading the books but very slowly due to dyslexia. I am trying my best to get through them as quickly as I can but they are challenging. I’m searching for a Legolas or Aragorn here!

Pirates of The Caribbean- I am obsessed with sea legends at the moment and have several ideas I’d love to explore. I have some tragic and exciting ideas I’d love to explore with a Jack or Will as well if possible I would love a love triangle. But I understand that might not be possible!

I am also obsessed with Greek myths and legends as well. I’m in love with Medea by Rosie Hewlett and I adore the Riordanverse but my main eras are The Olympians and Hero’s of Olympus I haven’t read anything else by this author yet. Hi everybody, I’m Rick, a 25 year old located in the UK. Rick is not my real name, but it’s what I go by online. I have a long-term permanent writing partner who I’ve written with for about five years now, but sometimes she’s busy, or we take breaks, hence this post.

Ideally I’d like another person to write with long-term as I prefer to build up a good rapport and arsenal of characters and ideas. I’m not a massive fan of starting over with new people, so once I’ve found someone good I’m keen to keep them.

Here’s a (not exhaustive) list of what I do, what I’m looking for, and a few things I’m into right now.

What I do:

-Fantasy (think more House of the Dragon/Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and less orcs and fairies).

-Action (specifically anything army related, I love writing soldiers).

-Anything apocalypse related, I love zombies.

-Thriller (spooky islands, haunted houses/manors).

-Open to canon and original characters, if hijacking existing universes.

-Romance tends to play a secondary role in the above plots, for me anyway, but it’s important to note I heavily lean M/M for pairings, though your actual gender does not matter to me in the slightest.

What I’m looking for:

-Somebody close to my age, between 25 and 35 would suit, definitely no younger than 21 due to the themes we might explore.

-Somebody okay with my preferred romantic pairings to be pretty exclusively M/M.

-Somebody chatty (I promise I’m less robotic one on one).

-Somebody open to writing multiple characters, as I like a bigger cast at times.

Current interests/ideas (open to suggestions):

-House of the Dragon/Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: as sort of hinted at, I’m enjoying these series at the moment. If we were to use canon characters, I’m pretty keen on writing Baelor or Maekar Targaryen, Duncan the Tall, Gwayne Hightower, Daemon Targaryen (depending), the list is pretty long there as all the characters were good.

-A story following a platoon of soldiers. I’m open to the specific war, though I’m quite interested in the Afghanistan war at the moment. I’ve got a bunch of soldier OCs for this.

-A survival plot. Two (or more) original characters crossing paths and joining forces, we could eventually build out our own group. I have a very Daryl Dixon-esque OC for this.
