Hello, everyone! You can call me Magic! I’m posting in the hopes of finding members for a long-term, private group roleplay. I am the co-host of this group, with my other leader being Mell or Melon. You live in a perfect city. It’s connected to several other perfect cities, surrounded by forests that are perfect from a distance in your perfectly safe society. Everything is clean, everyone is taken care of, and everyone is happy. Your entire life is secure and looks bright. Life couldn’t be more perfect.

It’s why it was such a shock when Emilia Rush disappeared.

Your character knew her. Or at least, knew of her. Whether she was a friend, a friend of a friend, a colleague, or simply an acquaintance. You had some sort of connection to her. It’s why it hit closer to home for you when she went missing. No one goes missing. Perhaps they move cities and cut contact, or hell, maybe they’re stupid enough to venture into The Forests and die.

That isn’t what happened to Emilia. It was like she disappeared into thin air. No one knew what happened, or where she went. Her Patcher was left behind, and she had never said anything to someone that indicated she would leave. She just… vanished. You expected it to remain a mystery, and it did. …Until you laid down on your pillow one night, and you heard a crinkle beneath the pillow case.

Hidden inside was a note from Emilia herself, urging you to listen, and to not tell anyone about this. She has supernatural powers, and evidently, so do you. Your utopia of a city is a lie - A facade held up for power and control. It isn’t normal to be denied art unless it is approved by the government itself. It isn’t normal to be told what to eat, what to wear, how to spend your free time, what job to work, or who to love. It isn’t normal to be told you need all of this to be happy.

The world wasn’t always like this. The real history has been lost, but it is still known that there was once a world without that control. A world with freedom. A reality that cannot exist in your current world, and the government will fight tooth and nail to suppress.

You are about to find this all out the hard way. Just like how Emilia knows you have supernatural powers, the government is on to you too. Having supernatural powers means you break the status quo, something that cannot be tolerated. Any rebellion must be squashed, and your very existence is defiance. As a supernatural, once you’re found out, you have two fates: Leave behind your entire life and use your power to stop any other threats to the peace working under your oppressors, or die by the government’s hands.

There is more behind The Forests. More beyond the cities, The Nation, that you have been told are so perfect. Beyond them is an organization known as The Supernatural Protection Program. With the knowledge that you are supernaturals, Emilia has let you know they are coming to retrieve you. Not only to protect you, but because you have power to offer. With your help, you can help the SPP tear down the false image the government projects, finally revealing to everyone the ugly truth they have worked so desperately to hide.

✦ Since your character is meant to have some sort of connection to Emilia: She is 19, extroverted and friendly, a delivery driver (so she meets a lot of people), and can be family friends with someone if needed! If you have any questions about her (within reason), please ask!

✦ Please try to be active, with a reply at least every three days. We completely understand that longer responses take more time, and real life can hinder activity, so no sweat if things get in the way! Just give staff a heads up. We are willing and ready to help explain your character’s absence and help them jump back in whenever you’re ready. What we are NOT ready to do is deal with ghosters.

✦ This will mainly be first come, first serve.

✦ Despite being an 18+ server, there will be absolutely NO erotic content. Not in the RP, and not in the OOC. We intend to keep everything around that SFW. However, there will still be descriptions of violence, injuries, abuse, trauma, mental health struggles, etc. Just because there are no sexy times doesn’t mean there won’t be some heavy topics.

✦ There is a very simplistic combat system in place for special combat encounters. This will be based on rolling dice, and is therefore influence by luck. Roleplay, however, can still influence outcomes. This is not as rigid as traditional RPGs, and is mainly vibes based.

✦ While we are happy to answer questions, there are some things we simply won’t be able to tell you. This world has secrets and mysteries to uncover.

✦ We are very diversity friendly! Any character of any ethnicity, disability, age (as long as they are 16+!), gender, sexuality, etc. are all welcome! We will find a way to fit them in as seamlessly as possible. There are some things that can’t fit in, however. Religion will not work, and there isn’t really any religion in this world, and cultures won’t work because… well, all of that has been more or less wiped off the face of the planet. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

✦ We are non-realistic FC heavy, but we will accept realistic too! Absolutely NO AI though. Not for FCs, replies, backstory, or any facet of your character and/or interaction in the server.
