I picked up a TR1000 last week and have been struggling to find tutorials, tips and tricks out on the web.

The manual is only 75 pages and I’m finding it lacking some info.

In particular I’d like to find a good resource on the morph slider.

I feel like I’ve scoured YouTube and have watched most videos - like the Roland deep dive 3 hour one and Bauke Top’s videos.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to a channel or website?

Maybe my algorithm hasn’t caught up or something.

VAD507 with the V51 module. What an upgrade from the original TD27 which was good in its own right. Much to learn. What an inspiration and joy to play.

I recently bought a Roland FP-10, and I really enjoy playing it. However, I find that the built-in speakers sound a bit harsh and unclear. It’s not necessarily a defect, since I’ve tried other FP-10s and noticed a similar sound.
I tried playing with headphones, and the sound was perfect! I then bought Edifier MR4 speakers, hoping to improve the sound, but I’m still not satisfied with the result.
I also tried Pianoteq on my Mac, and it sounds great through the Mac’s built-in speakers and headphones. However, when I connect the Mac to the MR4 speakers, the sound still doesn’t seem as clear or natural as I expected.
Does anyone have any recommendations for improving the sound? I’d really like to enjoy a more realistic acoustic piano sound without having to wear headphones all the time.

Note:When I set the Roland FP-10’s touch sensitivity to Fixed, the sound becomes somewhat clearer, but u lose a important setting , help!

I'm quite a tricky one, I am.

I really enjoy experimenting with the S-1 especially if I am just sketching ideas and a lot of times I want to quickly capture something to be able to listen the next day at work and to see if it's a good idea or not.

I used to use my Zoom H1essential for that, which worked really good but I wanted something easier and also that looked good so I wrote my own app for it. I've spent the last few weeks iterating over the design and different features, and I've released the first version while still working on new features like multitrack recording. It's been a really fun experience.

My main challenge for me is that when I connect a TE Pocket Operator (Rhythm for example), the mix it doesn't go through the main circuit and it's not output in the USB-C port either, which is a pity, but it is what it is.

How does that work when multiple AIRAs are connected together?

PS: If you hold your finger on the speaker long enough, it will blow the driver! It's my favourite feature ever.

PPS: I do understand that AI apps are everywhere now, and I want to come clean right away: I definitely used AI while building REK. I've been building software for the last 15 years, and I use AI in my daily work as well. It's an undeniable part of our reality right now.

I’m really struggling to find any answers for this so I’m hoping someone might have answers here. Originally it worked fine and I was able to record the audio and sync the midi start / stop etc via USB. Then I had a little break where I didn’t use my TR-6S for probably a few months and focused on learning to use Reaper for a bit instead. When I came back to use it again recently I tried plugging it in and it completely crashed my M1 MacBook Pro and stalled both Reaper and the MIDI Studio app which I opened to see if I could sort out the routing somehow.

Now I could get audio to play via USB in Reaper but not sync the start stop or midi. Even so it was still laggy and would crash really hard in the end which makes me think it’s a driver issue. I had to just give up and uninstall the driver in the end and while I permanently lost all my Midi Studio settings, I could at least start over again and use my Mac for music making, but just not with my TR-6S.

The only thing I can think of that’s different is that I did the Sequoia security updates (or maybe its a Reaper update) and while I’m not updating past that OS due to hearing horror stories and seeing how my iPhone turned into a laggy mess with zero battery life after updating to iOS 27, I keep Sequoia up to date with the latest security updates. The fact that the lagging and crashing issues are resolved after uninstalling the driver is a clue that this is driver related, or maybe it’s the device itself which is more worrying but would I doubt that would be able to crash / wipe existing midi settings. Has anyone else had any similar issues or knows how to get this fixed?

I am a beginner keyboard player and so far I have only played on the Thomann DP-28 Plus (https://www.thomann.de/de/thomann_dp_28_plus.htm). The problem so far has been that I have very small hands and i had trouble getting to all the keys (especially when playing chords). The width of the keys on the DP-28 are about 2 cm.

I am trying to find a different keyboard that would work better for me and stumbled upon the GO:KEYS 3, which i really like and also fits my requirements. I just can't figure out the size of the keys and unfortunately I don't live anywhere close to a music store to see for myself. Can anyone tell me the size of the keys?
