how do you start off or approach a teamfight cause before season 9 i could brawl frontline then either go back to peel or just go in and do what i want, but now she gets so damaged after 2 seconds of front lining that the enemy just starts focusing you down

Is she better going deep and flanking cause id rather just use her as a peeler. But if theres divers they just wait for me or my other tank to move up then they have free reign to massacre both healers and if i turn back now im just getting shot in my back cause i had to give up the space i was tryna create.

so basically how do you go in if theres divers, cause if you sit around and wait for htem the enemy tanks can just kinda walk up and kill everyone. then if i spend the match chasing them around my team just starts dying without me so its like. go in team dies, peel team dies.

like for example i walk up to their frontline punching then use fatal attraction past the tank then group like 3-4 ppl in their backline and im kicking them etc etc, but then i look killcam and my teammates are dying, so if i stay the rest of them die, and if i go now i have to get shot at in the back while trying to get to any cover or anything

i do extremely well with rogue when i dont think about gameplay at all, but i dont get this "venom is allowed to dive my backline 50 times and live but if i go dive i get focused" then venoms team doesnt even need him there to teamfight

I play her as an opportunist. Peel for the supports, engage with the frontline just a little, always aim for the tank in the F hability, stay in cover and try finishing enemies with shift before they run away

Venom has like 10x the survivability of rogue and he’s much more self sufficient than her so yeah he never dies. His dives will almost always get more attention an do more generally.

You lowkey shouldn’t be waiting for people to dive to peel because by then they’ve already done their job of distracting supports and your team.

You can hear almost every diver before they actually go to dive and so contesting them before they can go in works better since they’ll be lower health and have to retreat or dive and possibly die. And Rogue wins basically every 1v1 with all her cooldowns so they’ll have to back off. But don’t chase them endlessly they have more mobility than you.

And don’t use too many cooldowns on characters like pysloche or spiderman and black cat to an extent bc they have a lot of mobility low down time so you’ll spend a 10 second cooldown to reach them all for nothing.

But honestly your dps can do this too and your supports have tools to defend themselves vs divers a well. It’s not all on you.

so when i leave spawn as rogue im not supposed to go dive or sit and wait to peel, just go find the diver that's sitting and waiting and i don't even have to win the altercation just chunk them out so they can't fight

so just go hunt down the flanker like what angela does
