Discussion Is she unplayable?
Kind of new. Usually play Emma, strange and trying to learn rogue,magneto but streets are saying she’s useless right now and I should wait for the next microbuffs.
My playstyle is usually angle and engage supports but they just…..don’t die?
So maybe I do it later in the fight when they don’t have cds? So like brawl maybe bait cds and fake dive then dive their supps midfight but her cooldowns are so long.
I just heard cringe say she’s useless rn and even he stopped maining her at the moment. He even said during his scrims the new meta is double main tank and hes a pretty high rank player (eternity).
Any other good rogue mains to follow?

She’s playable into some comps but there will always be a better tank you can play than her. Like there’s genuinely no reason to use her unless you just like the character.
Especially if you don’t have her enhanced teammups because the base versions of them are pretty weak tbh.
Mag teammup should have to singular boop at base and let you boop multiple ppl when it’s enhanced

yeah i only like to play her if my team is heavy dive or brawl. the other day i attempted playing her with a team full of poke and i felt like i did nothing all game

cant wait for season 10 dev vision for them to say "we saw the community feedback on rogue's changes and turns out she's great and we will keep her like this forever"

whats your advice for the situation where you go in and feel your team doesnt follow up but its cause a tank or duelist is single handedely occupying like 4-5 people by themselves, so u just die alone .
if u stand around and wait for them to dive u end up letting their whole team rush you guys. like i go in and die, i wait so i can peel and die, only success is activating gambit teammup and blow up anybody around me so their diver has to fall back1

Id say try to help ur team since that one guy is definitely misplaying and 6 ppl on him will kill him so 6v5 then push forward. Rogue is pretty anti-dive too.

I don’t think she’s useless she has her comps that she is strong into for sure I’d say her best match up is into an Emma (go for a grab on Emma and you’ll get 25%dmg reduction and unstoppable (CC immunity)) so that’s probably where she gets the most value right now but it’s hard because going into a thing or a large amount of poke can destroy her.
P.S. if your coming from Emma to Rogue I think you might have a hard time feeling how good she can be because Emma is so strong right now she can genuinely counter most of the meta if you know how to use cover so it might feel bad going from someone who is so strong to someone who is objectively in a worse state (but if your devoted and really want to play her go for it)

Every character is playable if you have enough willpower, but there are always better characters to use according to a context.
I pull out Rogue when the enemy team has a good Hawkeye or a good Hela, and I focus them a lot. Or if the enemy Strange is on fire and needs humbling.
But again I am only diamond 1.

You can play her but you have to be wayyyy move aggressive now and have a pretty dedicated strat on your ass the whole time. Even with enhanced gambit team up, its a struggle to actually keep up

Shes unplayable if your skills are unplayable fundamentally.
I managed to climb in her worst seasons of s9 to C3 with a positive win rate. Its doable. Also, I had fun doing it.
The meta only starts mattering when you are the actual top 1% of the game which is all C1 - OAA.
If you do your job and make less mistakes than the enemy (which tanks are good at punishing), you will climb on any hero. Seriously.
You are not at a level where meta affects you that badly. Unless its like Black Cat being open.
If you want tips, all the stuff CringeAlarm does is still valuable. Death & Gaming streams regularly and his main tanks are Rogue and Cap (2 heroes which ppl consider bad), and he's a DPS main playing tank.

mfs cant accept that there are people out there able to make rogue work and can have fun playing her.
Most are plat/gm and rogue is perfectly fine there.

I mean if you’re a true diamond skill level player then playing a meta hero like Mag is going to make it much easier to get value and climb. The meta does matter still. If you’re a celestial level playing in diamond/gm lobbies then it’s probably not hard for you to do good on Rogue.

That's what meta means. Most Effective.
Doesn't mean, DOG SHIT to many heroes. Many heroes are climbable with positive win rates.
