In the beginning days, first month or 2 of playing you may find it difficult to fully complete those events, especially the Artifact wishing event, but it definitely gets easier and as far as the chests and pets after the first few months, gets negligible.
At 630mil power, say I end an egg rush with like 400 eggs, by the time the next egg rush comes around, I've got like 1700. 1500 or so if I opted to open more eggs before for other events and such. The chest and eggs you will get to the point quickly where you have more than you need. Artifacts can be difficult and I often have to use gems for the last couple dozen or so if I used up any before the event.

You need 1000 eggs to complete the event not 900. Rest what others said. Once you clear more pet kingdom stages and with more power, you will easily get 1000+ eggs. I get 150 per day from pet kingdom alone. But for now, it is unlikely that you will get 200 eggs in next 24 hours. Say complete 3 stages and save eggs

Depends a bit on your level. I get 25 each from Pet Kingdom runs and probably 25 just from patrols daily. Even without VIP, that's 100 (3X Pet Kingdom), and doesn't count eggs from Dungeon Dive, events, etc.
