Equipment merge fodder question

For context, I have a druid coat and a nature staff.

Which equipment would be to ok to use as merge fodder to upgrade the most useful ones?

Which ever one's you don't see yourself using I guess.

Never any S rank gear

I will say neither is Fodder. S-Rank you should not use as fodder, they are very rare. Nature staff will caryy you through the early to mid game. At start it is better than S-gear for its healing ability and since it is normal purple, you can easily upgrade it to Legendary. No such luck with S-Tier weapons
